That and it had the European couplers so will work with the class37 and terrier and is a real train basis the BR CLASS 04 DIESEL and the railway it worked was the “WISBECH AND UPWELL TRAMWAY” tho in the tv show she works at one of the quarry’s with the troublesome trucks So if you do get her get some troublesome trucks to go with her . Being troublesome truck 1 & troublesome truck2 All items are available in the USA and I said Mavis because she has the most detail than any other Bachman Thomas model I know of . And has covered wheels too because in the real rail line she works the rails go past close road and pathways without a fence in the middle . So trains need wheel protection on them . And she has moving eyes and separate lamp irons on her with moving metal wheels and slow speed performance . Her name printed on her cab and simple molded details so she can’t break for a younger kid to hold tho has good separate details for an older person to appreciate . She is good for shunting because that’s her job or as Americans call if (switching) Anyways onto the troublesome trucks 1&2 They have metal wheels and axels with plastic body shells with good detail . No moving eyes tho because they need to be hollow with wooden plank details everywhere you can see . Rivits everywhere . The faces at the front are different with one having a bigger face with triple chins . And the second having a smaller face and has his eyes closed . The triple chin is 1 and the closed eyes are 2 And they all look amazing for your model railway set up … tho Mavis can pull lots … maybe get out the terrier and class 37 wagons you got with them and couple them up for a British consist perhaps since they all work together . Maybe connect box vans with the American couplers to one to see how much Mavis can pull ? Tho if you wanted to get a second Thomas character I recommend toby second … he is the same as Mavis both being similar just Mavis is a diesel whilst Toby is a steam tram .
