That was the one thing I didn't mention, but you have to manually choose to repay those loans, so you could literally get all the trophies or achievements and not have to repay any of it. However, even if you did have to repay anything, that adds to the reasons why I recommend creating an additional space file to revert back too. Mainly because the game becomes unstable when using fast travel. I'm only speaking from experience as I played the game twice and had little to no issues.
