"Even the implication that he was cheating on his wife made him see red." Nothing makes a narcissist angrier than being accused of something that they definitely did.
@@omarag6419 Narcissistic injury also describes what happened when the cop said "don't do anything more stupid than you've already done". Just the look on his face is enough to tell how offended he was because his ego was _slightly bruised_ from being called stupid.
If an authority figure's response to accusations of abuse of power is just "If I really did those things, why haven't I gotten in trouble for it yet?" that is a huge red flag.
same way abusers of women talk in relationships. its like an appeal to lack of punishment or something. they go 'if im so bad why do you keep coming back?'. which confuses the victim and she thinks 'maybe its not that bad, no one is really helping me and he's right, him hitting me is my fault' and so on
@Mukashi_1996 yessss!! You're so on point. Also, it seems like he thinking, "Smile. Humans smile, right?? Good humans smile. I need to continue smiling so they will see and think I'm a good human. Keep smiling." 😃😃 Reminds me of Madagascar, "Smile and wave boys. Smile and wave." 😃😃😂😂 For me, it's how stiff and still he is and the force direct eye contact with little-to-no blinking while clearly forcing a smile, as well as the clearly forced facial expressions that go from "happy/friendly" to "concerned/offended" to "happy" again confirms to me that he is thinking and cares heavily on how he looks/presents himself while reading a script than having a real, not forced, organic reactions. In other words, he's a terrible actor and is constantly thinking about what emotion and movements he has to protray in the script next.
When his wife was on the phone and the dispatcher asks if anyone has been hit or pushed and she hesitates and said, "He hurt me earlier but not since then," like she was downplaying the abuse, made me so sad for her and her children.
The wife said it that way BECAUSE of her children being there in the room… she only deminished the abuse during the phone call. On the police reports she shared OPENLY- it’s extremely difficult to be abused in ANY WAY IN front of your children. I’ve been there. She was protecting the children by saying to that way to 911… the importnat part is she was honest with police .& more importantly, I hope she’s gotten herself together & was able to express honeslty to her CHILDREN that their fathers abusive in a way that doesn’t harm the children more.. as clearly just having him as a father is difficult enough. I feel soo much for the children. I have hesitated the same way. It’s scary for the kids in that situation, & she hesitated to be 100% honest & upset, bc the kids would hav even MORE AFRAID. Important w is talking t kids after the fact …

Yes! Absolutely agreed. Wanted to fight a bad company, they clamped down on me even harder, making it difficult to even survive. When i started union action, they reduced my hours. When i opened a civil rights case about the union busting, the union said I had a case, but the ensuing costs were insanity, and I would have had to stay employed there, for basically minimum wage, while the management tried anything they could to get me to quit. By the end, i had wasted a year, lost more than that in life force, and had alienated friends and family members with my paranoid ramblings about the company.
@@jossypoo That's a really cr@ppy situation you had to go through with that from just trying to make things right for not just yourself. @@lucydayLucida thank you so much for saying so. My line ultimately for fighting them was when I discovered that they did not perform Criminal Record Checks on the teachers they employed (with no experience required) as kindergarten teachers. Since the school had chosen to integrate sll ages together, we'd had several situations where adult students were seen to be uncomfortably close to the children. When I brought it up with management, they were more concerned with the media finding out, than they were about the children. That was my last straw before the union actions. As far as I know, they are still operating unchanged.

A small bit disturbing point: if he didn't know which student he was accused of sexually assaulting, that means he must have done it more than once. Otherwise he would know her identity immediately, right? At the very least he must have sexually interacted with multiple students and was incapable of determining which one would be considered sexual assault. Which, again, suggests that this may have happened more than once - seeing as he was incapable of understanding what is and is not appropriate sexual behaviour.
Sexual predators are fully capable of controlling themselves like everyone else, what makes them predators is that they WON'T control themselves. They feel entitled to take what they want, when they want, from whoever they want with 0 regard for the consequences to anyone but themselves.

Reminds me of that one crazy mother who killed 2 of her children and put them in the freezer because she thought they were SAing their little brother (no evidence was found, the little brother even denied it). Her name was Mitchelle Blair. Seriously fucked up case and she has ZERO remorse.
That whole section about the altercation with his wife was horrifying. She probably saved her own life and her kids with that 911 call. The fact that he broke the door down after she’d barricaded herself and the kids in a room, knowing that she’d called the police, tells me he wouldn’t have stopped until she was dead if the police hadn’t shown up. It’s scary that she said he seemed to be calmer when he realized she’d called 911. He was aware that he didn’t want to be on that 911 call screaming and yelling but after she got off the phone, that’s when he broke down the door and chased her and the kids around the house. How mentally GONE do you have to be to keep assaulting your wife while your own children are clearly being traumatized trying to fight you off their mom? Dude was unhinged and if that information hadn’t been swept under the rug, maybe Jeff and Rita would’ve been able to protect themselves better 😢 They were both threatened by him and neither took it seriously. I’m sure as an investigative reporter, Jeff had been threatened before. He went up against the freakin mob so I doubt he was scared of this loser. But maybe he would’ve been more cautious if he’d known that this guy was so violent. 😞 This was clearly premeditated and I can’t imagine how heartbroken Jeff’s family must be. Hope Telles gets life 😤
@@registeredjopper oh I agree for sure. The assault on his wife shouldn’t have happened at all. It’s just that the presence of children or other family members and outsiders is often times enough to get someone to stop or at least pause because they want to maintain the false “good guy” image. Sadly, many abusers often care more about how they look to others than the fact that they’re abusing their partner. That’s why you’ll see and hear so many people say things like “if that’s what he/she does in public, can you imagine what he/she does in private?” It just takes it to another level that not only did he not have a problem assaulting his wife, he also didn’t care that his own children were crying and trying to fight him off their mother. None of it stopped him. The only thing that stopped him was the police.

I’ve worked for a TOTAL narcissist like this before. He made sure that NOTHING ever just ran smoothly, encouraged a toxic workplace, and regularly intimidated people under him. He was EXTREMELY intelligent and cunning. We worked with patients, and they LOVED me and always told me so, yet he would pull me into an office and regularly berate me and basically tell me I’m worthless 2-3 days a week. Sometimes, he would target other employees (depending on who he wanted to set his sights on that day). I stuck it out for almost 3 years, but finally just walked out one day (with no plan of future employment). I had become so depressed that I was barely sleeping at night. Quitting that awful job was the best thing I could’ve done.
I worked for a narcissist for one school year as a teacher. I made it out and continue to have PTSD from it. After therapy, medication and time, I am healing. I was in my 40s with a career and support system. I'm so sorry you went through that for 3 years. You didn't deserve that. I wish you only the best in the future.
As a Vegas local, it is so disappointing and frustrating to see how much chaos is swept under the rug for officials, and how many crooks, abusers, and selfish people stay in positions of power. It is like this all over the world. It’s disgusting.
Just amazes me how many people just cannot accept any type of failure and have to blame someone else instead of doing a little introspection and improving one’s self.
I mean, one doesn't need to be narcissist to be a hypocrite or a liar. For example, you say "have to blame someone else" but let's be super realistic, super machiavelian right now: If you make a mistake and own up to it, majority of people would give you second chance, but what about third, fourth or fifth? Simply put, people get tired REAL fast from leaders admitting they were wrong. That's super relatable characteristic for spiritual leaders whose job is to be calm and collected, offering sanctity and security of mind, like a priest. But people DO NOT like their physical leaders to be weak, too many mistakes, no matter how small, would have your average Joe think of you weak, people are like that. So if you're in that position you ought to address precise mistakes, while ignoring smaller ones that public "doesn't need to know, because they wouldn't understand it". That sentence there, is where the problem lies. While true, it's a slipper slope, as one traverses through the hierarchy from their own flawed personal perspective they shove more and more things into that category, until they start covering up things that people should know, precisely because they would understand it. Then, you also have to account for general dodging of accountability. How many of regular humans, your average people, are complicit in overseas slavery because it eases their life to get things cheaper. They all consider themselves not accountable, but would whine and complain if they were forced to buy homemade products at 3 times the price. It's like the good old mandarin story. Sadly or not, the matter of the fact is that majority of people would take that deal, get money for some random person on the other side of the world to drop dead. No witnesses, no way to get involved, no torture, just some random nobody you don't care. Also, desire is a factor too. People often say desires kills us for a reason, because not all we desire is achievable. If you are born into poverty or middle class, a lot of things you see in Hollywood are NOT obtainable without stepping on corpses. Now, any spiritual leader would advise to look in front of you and be content with what you have, but some people are incapable of that. When you really factor all those things together, is it REALLY a surprise that there's so many people like that out there? ESPECIALLY ONES at the position. Because let's be real, a man that is content in life does NOT move, does NOT grind. If they're set with decent family, decent job, decent work time, decent hobbies, there's no incentive to still grind. But these people are different, they're never satiated. First you start with addictive substances like caffeine, nicotine that are legal. Then you start enjoying finer things in life such as cocaine or caviar. All that sh*t is expensive my dude, the more vices you aquire the more expensive to keep that life style gets. And it never stops, even after getting sustainable amount of coke supply, then there's expensive escorts. Why f*ck a 45-50 year old wife when there's some sweet sweet young p*ssy out there, more vice. It still doesn't stop, there's more mistresses, more expensive ones, buying them their own houses/villas to hang in. Then more often than not they translate those vices to their immediate offspring, teaching their young sons/daughters to do the same sh*t. This is a vicious spiral my man, this is precisely why morals are important in a society, and most often than not, religion is one dictating upholding of those norms. edit: I apologize for over the top explanation, so here's the tl;dr 1. Accepting failure is limited resource before you're not allowed to make more failures. 2. Avoiding accountability is natural in humans and needs to be ironed out by society. All children avoid accountability by nature, as none of us wants to suffer, it's up for society and parents to teach accountability, as it's absolutely not inherent to human being. 3. If you appetites grow so much, you literally cannot satiate them without stepping on corpses. You can NEVER admit that publicly, for obvious reasons. 4. Appetites are potentially limitless, as there's no ceiling natural to us where it's biological to say "that's enough". 5. While there are humans incapable of introspection of course, lower IQs or mentally ill ones like narcissists, there are also plenty of people in position and power that are capable of introspection, are aware they're not best humans and will not change, because changing means forgoing their vices, and many of them would literally die (or kill) to keep the steady flow of vice supply.

In spite of the commenters that downplay the amount of work it takes to put together a 1 hr. video....Dreading does a remarkable job with the information available. If anyone has had to piece together hours of online research and then spend several more hours editing, scripting, narrating and package the complete product in a professional manner....they would understand the massive effort and commitment it takes to do so. This is what is done by Dreading and his brother on a weekly basis. I am speaking from personal experience (and no I am not a contributor to You Tube) and the work is exhausting. You’re literally on your own in a military base, the creeps that facilitate this behavior have dozens of ways to completely protect the rapey monsters, and they immediately get rid of anyone who blows the whistle.
Can confirm. These situations are worsened when the individuals hold high-ranking positions and have the power to ruin your career an instance (Flt, Grp, Sq. CC, etc). I’ve had many friends quit because of these experiences, despite loving their work.
I’ve never personally experienced it, but I’ve had family members who experienced harassment while in the Air Force. It was coming directly from the base commander, and she had to write to her representative in Congress to get the issue addressed. He retaliated against that, which ended up escalating the issue to the DoD, and resulted in the commander being relieved of his post. It’s a hard battle to win, but it’s not impossible.

Or OR he did not do it and that's why he didn't know.

Quitting that awful job was the best thing I could’ve done.
he must've thought himself as the real life doctor house or something...
lol jokes aside, that's horrible
Good on you for walking out on the scumbag 💪
what kind of things would he do that would make him intelligent and cunning? that sound scary I'm sorry you had to go through that!
Just because somebody is well-spoken and loves to hear themselves talk doesn't equate to intelligence.
As a Vegas local, it is so disappointing and frustrating to see how much chaos is swept under the rug for officials, and how many crooks, abusers, and selfish people stay in positions of power. It is like this all over the world. It’s disgusting.
I like how the angry letter boils down to “I’ve done nothing wrong because nobody has punished me for anything”.
Just amazes me how many people just cannot accept any type of failure and have to blame someone else instead of doing a little introspection and improving one’s self.
narcissist's can't really be introspective.
This is a vicious spiral my man, this is precisely why morals are important in a society, and most often than not, religion is one dictating upholding of those norms.
edit: I apologize for over the top explanation, so here's the tl;dr

Just a reminder that choking in ab*sive relationships often leads to homicide. If they put your hands on your throat when angry…please try to find a safe way to leave and don’t be alone with them when you tell them you’re leaving.
You don't have to censor the word "abusive"
@@PronatorTendon Yes I do.
@@rhythmnblues9195 Why? It makes no sense
@@PronatorTendon Because the algorithms on TH-cam can affect whether or not vids like this are published or my language can be reported. I always do this. It’s my choice and I’ll do it because I feel comfortable with it.
I live in Las Vegas and watched this go down in real time. It’s like the Wild West out here, I’ve never seen anything like it. Such an embarrassment and tragedy. German was a fantastic journalist. Fantastic. A true journalist with integrity. I feel horrible for his family.
It's really such a shame everyone is hounding on this poor pubic official, poor little guy getting harassed because of his position, we need to all come together to make sure our pubic officials are treated correctly, such as rolling out a red carpet for anywhere they may go, making human bridges for any gap they can't cross, and throwing out clothes/items/children into puddles so they don't get their socks wet.
Because they are not our representatives, they are our leaders.
I can’t stand narcissists. Just the fact that they’re So Long Winded about everything because they love their self importance. I’m a person with no patience and these people make my blood boil.
I was married to a sadistic narcissistic psychopath like this guy. I am lucky to have gotten out with my life, but the trauma from the abuse he put me through affected me for years. My deepest sympathy to all of his victims. Hopefully they are now able to find some peace.
There's way too many of these a holes out there. And way too many of us affected for years, first the years of hell with them, and then the hell they put you when you leave, and then the years of recovery. I can spot them now, too bad they weren't marked in some way so everyone could. There should be a place to send them all, so they could just use and hurt one another.
Maybe you shouldn't have married him then? Seems simple enough lol

Atrocities aside, “They wanna take me down cause I’m a public official” has been my new vocal stim for the past several days
Holy crap that arrest footage is giving me flashbacks….I recently separated from my boyfriend of six years and he suffered horribly from alcoholism, and whenever I tried to confront him about his drinking or driving drunk he would become super belligerent just like this fool and act like didn’t do a damn thing wrong in his life. Ugh.
I totally remember when this happened. Thank you for releasing this since the media basically ignored this story.
Interesting that he came out okay after writing about The Mob only to get whacked by a politician
If the media ignored the story, how do you remember it?
I remember reading about it in the media, and I live in Canada
@@valerierodger even the guy making the video said there was hardly any media reporting on it? Also he specified one of the only ones being in New York so you hearing from that one in Canada checks out as well.

Nearly every DC politician (especially on the progressive end of things) is a narcissist as well, and they believe they are gods. 🙄
This was my nightmare in the US Air Force. I had three consecutive supervisors that made us suffer from Narcissism/ Bullying /Sexual advances.

"you just want to take me down because im a public official" very smart thing to say over and over while being arrested for assault on your family lmfao.
The cop whose bodycam footage we saw was delightfully sassy. He had no patience to spare for this asshole.
I grew up in Clark County. It’s been an open secret within the community that there was extreme, deep-seeded corruption throughout that whole county. Which is at least partially why the Clark County School District is/was one of the worst school districts in the entire country. Severe understaffing, teachers getting underpaid and forced to pay for classroom essentials out of their own pockets when they’re supposed to be provided by the county. It’s a cesspool
Sounds like orleans parish (new orleans) where I live. The police are so corrupt, it's pathetic. I know everyone says police are corrupt, but in New orleans it's everyday life, and very true.
So that’s why the schools there are absolutely horrible. So sad that there’s greed everywhere in Las Vegas
16:10 the officer turning to one of his buddies and saying “Brian, this seat belt is being stupid” as Rob-literally so drunk he has to be manhandled like a child into the car-yells shit incomprehensibly was such a good tension breaker for me 😂
Getting manhandled to sit down and face forward 😆
Humanized the police for me..

I feel so bad for the kids. I went through that shit as a child myself and it is traumatizing. Took me a long time to work through the emotional issues it left me with. The feeling of powerlessness and fear that it brings to you is crippling.
If you are in a job that stresses you out this much, quit. My rule is if the events of the office environment negatively impact me in my leisure time I quit the job. There is always another place to work. I have taken pay cuts to get into healthier environments because a shitty job can easily drain you and lead you into a bad state of mind. Take care of yourself, take care of you loved ones, keep your kids away from toxic situations. Life is too short and miserable enough without toxic people at home or at work.
Don't use the word toxic. It sounds incredibly dumb.
@Wandering Soul {Lustful and Wholesome} "toxic" was a corporate buzzword long before it was adopted by social justice warriors.

He just tried to both delay the trial and have the court provide him with “legal consultants” available as he was under so much pressure representing himself (ie he wanted lawyer associates to do all the work, acting like he’s a partner at a law firm). The court said “LOL no”
That video you played of him in the beginning told me everything I needed to know about him. Anyone that can praise themselves that much publicly and offer nothing more is clearly a narcissist and a problem
idk, I can't complain about _that._ "I did a good job, I measurably fixed this big issue, please re-elect me so I can keep doing this better than the last guy on these specific metrics" is a convincing re-election speech.

This seems like an important story, as it reveals how the people who are given power do not necessarily deserve to have power. I hadn't heard of this case, and I appreciate being informed on it, thank you.
Our "leaders"/criminals in DC illustrate that every day.
A vast majority of politicians are there solely for the authority it gives them.
They know they can sell out millions of people, very easily, and gain millions of dollars doing it.
Why would the enemy expose themselves? This guy is not unique in the slightest.

Just want to say I appreciate how you handle true crime, this is the only channel for it I still subscribe to as a lot of the genre feels exploitative and sensationalized (titles with random caps and buzzwords that feel like they’re from tabloids, trying to use illegitimate body language readings, etc).
I get a sense of respect from how you handle these cases and I’m grateful for it
