I parented my daughter with the help of my family while the father has been absent since 2016. My daughter passed at the age of 10 this year, what a beautiful soul she was. Today, the 23rd September is her first birthday in her absence and it is just so hard. She would have been turning 11, I'm beyond heart broken, the pain is just unbearable. The father is trying to make his way back and I know even if I tried to go back it would never make sense why only now and will never work out, it is too late. I needed him when my daughter was alive as a sick child living with a chronic illness. We have another daughter (8) together but that's just it for me. There is a lot maan, I am triggered. I just laughed when you started preaching about “cheating” in relationships coz that’s so me 😅. I’m being told that I say I will leave as soon as I find out my partner is cheating because I’ve never found someone that I truly love. And my response would always be “then I guess I’ll never find that kind of person because that would imply going against putting myself first”. I can’t be praying everyday to God asking for a peaceful life and still actively put myself in situations that take away the very peace I’m praying for. I’m trying to meet God halfway here 😂.

I relate so much. I also left my corporate job because of that inward feeling that I should be living life a different way. I am not making money formally but I am constantly assured that I will be alright, through sufficient provision and abundance. Always getting what I need when I need it. At the same time, I am constantly and eagerly asking God & my ancestors to get me moving on my desired life based on my given purpose. It feels like it’s taking forever to get there but at the same time it feels like I am already living in it.
Your vlogs are my go-to relaxation after a long day of dissertation writing - can't wait to unwind! You have no idea how much I've missed them. However, I commend you for taking time to yourself. You look like you're in a much better space 😊

You mentioned how you’re not applying actively because you’re intentional about the companies you want to work for And I was thinking maybe you should do a video on that, young people just send 100 applications in a day that aren’t intentional and chances that you’ll get that job when you send one CV and one cover letter to different roles. One or two applications a week should be enough if you’re focusing on it and prepping your CV to fit that specific role. It’s a lot of work and I think we need that guidance from someone like you who’s been in corporate for so long🫂✨
