I still can't get it into my head that Axl is 61 years old. The dude is epic. I was 16 when I first saw them in 93 Milton Keynes. Taking my 16 year old daughter to see them at Hyde park 30th of June cannot freakin wait. Plus Glastonbury unbelievable. GnR baby!!!!!!!
i cant blame axl for his voice what they've called "mickey mouse" he's old man now and can still of that caliber..for me he's that still good for his current age
saw him in Adelaide, Australia. We weren't expecting much but he was definetely better than we were expecting... obviously he can't hit those highs anymore but it wasn't terrible by any stretch.
Axl’s “current” voice was put on the shelf during AC/DC tour where he gave everything he had. It’s not a question of age, I’d say, but of commitment. Or vocal health, cause 3+ hour shows rasped out would take a toll I guess

You know, one of the many reasons I left Twitter (stinky musky was just the last straw) was because I was so sick of seeing the haters joke about his health issues, his age (let me burst their bubble - Peter Pan IS NOT REAL), and his voice. I'm still staying away from Twitter, but I'd bet my last dollar that NOT ONE of those losers has the honor to say what is unmistakable now - he has battled back - again. He went from being in a wheelchair, to running on stage again. He has clearly taken back his health and well being, and his voice is clear and strong again - and he did this in his 50's and early 60's (those of us near or at that age now how monumentally hard that is). So I'm saying it - and I'll keep saying it - this man is amazing! And every time I see these videos and watch him bolt across the stage, I want to stand up and cheer! And to all the haters - I'm sending you a fond f*ck you!

It'll be very interesting to see how Axl will do at Glastonbury, I'd like to think he's going to not phone it like he does with these shows but we'll see. He has the capacity to bring out the full rasp but refuses to, you see odd glimpses where it comes out now and again. Glastonbury is the highlight of most bands careers as it's watched by millions at once so hopefully the nerves won't get to him, he should 100% ditch the falsetto at this point, doesn't work at all and should go with the chest voice, saw it last year with the London gigs and his version of nightrain was brilliant

@@Sniffles69 Saw him last year in Dublin, he was pretty good in fairness to him, I think when he's actually motivated he can as seen with his stint with AC/DC, GnR hasn't motivated him for I'd say the last 10+ years, I'd say like with all of them they just go into auto pilot once they hit the stage. I think he can definitely push himself more than he does, if he can't then fair enough but at least adapt the songs to what he can hit, no point going falsetto all the time, it'll be very interesting what he does for Glastonbury as he's going to be under scrutiny if he phones it in, the fanbase isn't kind to him a lot of the time so imagine casuals 😅

If the drummer played a little faster and hit harder, it would cover for Axls voice a bit. Ferrer needs to wake up back there. I thought he had it figured out back in 2016, but clearly not.
when slash and duff came in they slowed down most of the songs to their og temp....listen to appetite (or the illusion songs) this is proper speed of original
Yeah, in the first shows they played these songs much faster. Then all the fans complained that Frank sucks cause he plays too fast. So now they're playing these songs at the original tempo. The thing is that people will ALWAYS complain, no matter what the tempo is. And the sad thing is that they always blame Frank as if it's his fault. He's just playing it the way they tell him to play.
