Jehovah's witnesses are very peaceful and respectful people. They are neutral with regard to political activities but they are absolutely respectful to authorities. They do not curse anyone or any other religious groups. They do not use violence for defending themselves when they are being attacked physically or verbally. I just don't get it why they are being persecuted like this in Russia and in other countries. Who's behind all of these? Why there is so much hate and violence against them? Officials in other countries gave very good commendations and regards them as very peaceful and organized group especially when they are doing their conventions or assemblies. They also clean the facilities and convention centers they were using before going out. They also talk so calm and happy whenever you see them together or with non-members outside their church. So, how come they are being tagged as extremists?

I have a uncle that hasn't been to the hall in 20 years but because of the technicality that he has never had a judicial meeting he can poke his head in whenever he wants and people will speak to him at hall. I got disfellowshipped at 18 and was still living at home. I wasn't allowed to eat with my family at the table because of a scripture that said you must not eat with such ones. Jehovah's witnesses are very peaceful and respectful people. They are neutral with regard to political activities but they are absolutely respectful to authorities. They do not curse anyone or any other religious groups. They do not use violence for defending themselves when they are being attacked physically or verbally. I just don't get it why they are being persecuted like this in Russia and in other countries. Who's behind all of these? Why there is so much hate and violence against them? Officials in other countries gave very good commendations and regards them as very peaceful and organized group especially when they are doing their conventions or assemblies. They also clean the facilities and convention centers they were using before going out. They also talk so calm and happy whenever you see them together or with non-members outside their church. So, how come they are being tagged as extremists?

Não existe necessidade de violência física ou prisão, hoje em dia existem recursos mais sofisticados para provar a culpa. Caso fossem espiões ou terroristas, ainda assim, ficaria a dúvida, e se não fossem? Entrar nas casas, revistar as pessoas, confiscar bens da organização das "Testemunhas de Jeová", proibir reuniões, aplicar multas(caso a pessoa não possa pagar, outro membro Testemunha de Jeová, que tenha condições, deve ser escolhido para pagar), anular a carteira de motorista, proibir de sair da cidade, acredito que são punições menos traumáticas e mais eficientes, para proteger cidadãos russos de uma religião extremista. É claro que espiões e terroristas podem infiltrar, penetrar ou esconder-se, em qualquer religião ou organização, mas será que é ético e legal, torturar inocentes, para encontrar culpados, quando na maioria das vezes, eles realmente não sabem?

It was once a busy part of my life too, after leaving I spent a lot of time helping others out too, including my wife.
