- Steps for Huawei AR600 Router Basic Configuration (GUI Mode)
1. Access the Router's Web Interface
Connect your PC to the router via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
Open a browser and enter the router's default IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.1 or as indicated in the user manual).
Log in with the default credentials:
Username: admin
Password: Admin@123 (or as configured).
2. Configure WAN Settings
Navigate to Network - WAN Settings.
Select the appropriate WAN port (e.g., GE0/0/0) and configure the connection type:
Static IP: Enter the provided IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, and DNS servers.
PPPoE: Enter the ISP-provided username and password.
Save and apply the settings.
3. Configure LAN Settings
Go to Network - LAN Settings.
Set the LAN IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.1) and subnet mask.
Enable DHCP Server (if needed) and specify:
Start and end IP range.
Default gateway (same as LAN IP).
DNS server (manual or automatic).
Save the changes.
4. Configure NAT (Network Address Translation)
Navigate to Security - NAT.
Enable Outbound NAT for the WAN interface (e.g., GE0/0/0).
Save and apply the settings.
5. Configure Wireless (If Applicable)
Go to Wireless - Basic Settings.
Enable wireless and set the following:
SSID: Choose a network name.
Channel: Set to auto or a specific channel.
Navigate to Wireless - Security Settings:
Set the encryption type (e.g., WPA2-PSK) and enter a secure Wi-Fi password.
Save and apply changes.

I can't access it via browser .. I pinged its ip and I got replies normally but I can't access web interface .. how to access it ?

By default, Huawei routers use HTTP (port 80) or HTTPS (port 443) for web access. Try these in your browser:
(e.g., 192.168.1.1)
(e.g., 192.168.1.1)
If that doesn't work, try specifying ports manually:
:8080
:8443
