I didn't like pearl drums because I didn't like the sound of the toms. It turns out it was either the drummers who tuned them or the way they were recorded because this guy's kit sounds amazing.
I am sincerely impressed!!! Excellent form and precision,just as Mr. Peart himself performed it. You even very closely matched the tone of his drums,which he placed a heavy emphasis on.
Yet again you amaze me!!!! Your drumming and talent is incredible . Also the sound of your drums and all the awesome camera angles you have is amazing . Keep making these phenomenal covers . YOU ROCK :)

Over all sound in the room was studio quality. I’m sure this is because it’s mixed, as it sound be. I see many that drums play this accurately, but never mixing the the overall sound as well as this is done. Hats off to you. Nice over all job!

Neil actually never played Pearl Drums. He played on Slingerland thru Hemispheres, switching in 1979 to Tama for Permanent Waves thru Power Windows, then in 1987 moved to Ludwig for Hold Your Fire thru Counterparts, except for his Slingerland "Old Faithful" snare he kept along the way. Then in 1996 he moved to DW.
Real good. You play it very similar as Sterling Fuentes cover. Very economic. I notice that the covers done by the girl drummers (Sina, Simone Lockhart, Chiara) are much "busier" although still very good too.
cymbals almost sound dead on perfect , just a very slight variation on the big ride. Not an easy task to try to play any of this drummers material and get away with it :) Awesome !!
