- This is the fastest stock electronics (SSS3674 2075kv sea king 120amp) zonda on the planet, galaxy, universe whatever.
Clean run no flips, this is important when trying to set a record.
This is probably the fastest zonda overall since I have never seen a faster one even with modified motors or esc's, If you have send me a video and i will gladly change the Title.

The original plan was sky rc in the front and garmin in the back, last minute I changed my mind and stuck the vivoactive in to get a decimal point, this gps was never intended to be filmed, it was just there in case the primary didn't work, had I known that it's gonna read 3mph higher, I woulda showed you the gps zerod out, which is what I did before the run, you don't have to believe it but I know I did it. Eather way its still the fastest documented zonda at 121mph showing the gps before and after and doing it without flipping, because flips don't count, They NEVER counted because it can throw the gps readings off and neither does editing another gps at the end of the video.

Awesome boat I’m trying to buy one right now as I type this however it’s not clear as what electronics the boat comes with on the RTR version so I just wanna make sure what I’m buying and what to expect if I’m going to have to upgrade my electronics and buy a controller. GReat run! do you use the black boat for a recovery? What type of recovery system do you use if you need one? I sure as heck wouldn't go for a swim in that water. Looks like the gator water in Florida where I live

I usually use wind or a fishing pole, on bigger lakes I also use my fishing boat, also have an old recovery boat that isn't finished yet.
No gators here but I wouldn't swim in it eather.

@@secretsquirrel1942 am building the mini zonda, tiny hull hahaha just finished the inlay and making pedestal for the rear. Its so small the surface drives stick out pass the rear, will post soon.

If the second gps is a Garmin Vivo active they are by far the most accurate the refresh rate is 10 milliseconds so they pick up the peak speed.

Diff prop. Maybe but I think the cheetah is faster on 4s, I was thinking about trying the genesis 900 on 4s first, might be faster then both.
How would you compare the zonda to cheetah xl
Do you have rc cars? It's like comparing the aarma limitless to the traxxas XMAXX.
The XL is just a big powerful beast that would use lesser boats for traction as it goes over the top of them, also it turns awesome, very stable in rough water.
The zonda is much faster but won't turn anywhere near as good and it does its best work on perfect glass water.

It's awesome I love it.
If I had to do it all over again I would order it hull and hardware and stick my own motor esc in it
And go 8s insted of the 1850kv 6s system, or order it with sss4092 motors but lower kv say 1200-1400kv and again go 8s, I will do this eventually, the promarine 300amp seem to work great in the 56" I may install these in the cheetah xl in the future.

9:20 Why were you being so weird with the hatch at the end of the video? You clearly only slid the hatch FWD enough to get the rear GPS, then centered the hatch and reached under to grab the other GPS. Instead of just setting the hatch off to the side and showing the electronics?

I see this is a subject to others as well. Speeds at 120+ gives also me a high pulse. Its kinda fun and breathtaking. That being said; GoPro 10 seems to record sound at unusual high level😉 Hope this didnt effect your experience too much🚀
I was, it was the first pass of the day and I though it was going to blow over, I had the sky rc in it ready to go and decided to remove it right before the run because I didn't want to risk losing it, I only have one of those but have multiple garmin gps units that I would much rather sacrifice.
The microphone on this camera is very sensitive apparently, this was only the second video using this camera maybe there is an adjustment in the settings, Also it was hot as hell and 100% humidity making it hard to breathe, also this boat raises the heart rate and gives me adrenaline.
I'd like to see others film a boat like this and see how their breathing is.
I dont know if this guy should be participating in this type of sport. Sounds like he

You have a good eye and a great ear my friend, it only passed the camera at 105-108mph but 2-300 feet after that is when it really started mooving.

This vid should have been less than a minute long.
I have no issues with editing everything out and just showing the run but then people will not believe that the boat ran that speed unless the gps is shown zeroed out before the run.
