What a wonderful vlog! Thank you! While the 18th century instrument in Leiden is a historic wonder, I have to say that the organ in Hague blew my mind! So, for that matter, did the church! WOW!
Thank you for taking me along on your wonderful journey-two amazing cities and two incredible organs! Although I was disappointed not to be there, hearing a snippet of the Poco Adagio from the Organ Symphony, a piece to which I have a special personal attachment, in this video helped ease my regret. Thank you so much!!
Thank you both for this enjoyable Vlog of your travels to Leiden and Den Haag. It was interesting to hear some details of the Steevens /Assendelft and Franssen instruments.
Great to see you in Leiden, but I totally missed you played here :( Hope you will play the Hooglandse Kerk organ too sometime and hopefully I won't miss it then.
Thanks for sharing another fun, musical adventure. The beautiful architecture & stained glass windows of Elandstraat Church are breathtaking! The organ is phenomenal, too. Love the Vox Humana in Walloon. Suspect someone might have slid down that banister on occasion. 🤫♟️🕊🗝🚲🚲❤️❤️🎹🎶
Noooo, I knew this would happen! You came to Leiden and I missed you. You have to come back soon. We have plenty more amazing organs, including a real English Willis in the Hooglandsekerk. We even have a nice twin spare bedroom that we can put you up in (for nowt), with Dutch pronunciation lessons thrown in. Occasionally the weather is nice too, but generally pretty similar to Middleton: koud.
The old venerable city of leiden has at least 10 famous historic organs. I heard most of them at the yearly Leiden Organ Day. But this gem was new to me. Beautiful small church, impressive tall organ case and delicate sound. It immediately reminded me of Händel, and the organs he wrote his concerts for.
Thank you so much for taking us with you on this wonderfu journey. And please continue!
☺👍✌❤Hello Jonathan & Tom 🌹🍁 Thanks & Congratulatinis 🍂🌹💯Absolutely amazing job 🎼🎹🎶✨Enjoyed it 🍫☕

Go to the Luthere kerk in the Haque and to Harlem and the Pieteskerk in Leiden.
Thank you for bringing us this. You should come to the Netherlands more often, there are many amazing organs.

I believe Grotekerk (big church) is pronounced ch-rota kerk with the ch as in loch and koud (cold) as k-aud (as if German)
