They were coming off their post human American tour I saw them in Dallas on the 18th an theY killed it for an hour an 12 minutes no old shit outside of 2013’s sempiternal but a lot of bangers from the new EP then they played Colorado two days later an then WWWY that closed out America for them it sucks they didn’t play any old shit but they were touring a specific sound. Saturday WWWY was canceled for wind they did a pop up show at the palms in Vegas an played diamonds 💎 so that’s pretty cool
"When We Were Young" none of these BMTH songs existed. I could understand if they added in some of their newer stuff, but to not have anything from their first 3 albums is a really weird choice given the underlying theme of the festival. Not even one song? I'm sorry but they shit the bed with that decision. Crowd would have went off with Chelsea Smile or anything from Suicide Season.
I just went to their show two weeks ago. My guess is because they're currently on tour in the US, this was basically an abridged version of their current tour that is ready and prepped and was easier to use than to prepare an entirely new set. They did perform Diamonds in Chicago though, so I suppose they could have also done that at WWWY as well. They're still amazing regardless!

Performance was pretty good. Set feels incredibly short. And the interludes/breaks between song feel excessive. It's a new thing a lot of artists do now. Put a bunch of space and junk between songs. I understand artists get tired but 8 songs in 45 minutes? At an average of 4 minutes a song that's still 15 minutes of dead air in a 45 minute set. Disappointing from that perspective.
