To save her nation, she had to trick the heavenly principles, her people, and even probably us, the player. I really love how Furina turned out, and we never learnt her true plans until the very last second, the plot is so painfully wonderful.

A blindfold on Furina makes sense. To quote Focalors: To deceive the heavenly principles, you must first deceive yourself. Furina herself had no idea what the secret to stopping the prophecy was. She just held out in hope for 500 years in whatever Focalors was doing will work out.
But also, perhaps Furinas turmoil and fumbling of her role seemed to be futile in itself thus deceiving the heavenly principles.
Oh that was a blindfold. I thought it was just a shadow to give that anonymous effect
An other reason for the blindfold could be that some parts of the Song Sound like a copy of amusement park from nier automata.
You see that in paticular at 0:46
another reason to those given is that the common symbol of justice is a blindfolded woman holding scales. Furina is the human part of the God of Justice and as they say: "Justice is blind"

Honestly this should have been the song we got during Focalors/Furina. La Vaguelette sums up their story perfectly. In my opinion, this is their song.

i still think sinner’s finale is quite good of a theme for that cutscene. something about how it has a sort of whimsy feel to it while something sad is happening makes it rather interesting.

2:38-2:46 captures everything i love about Furina, what she went through and how she is free. Wow beautiful beautiful job
i like how the tone and beat changes and the lyrics stays the same but the way it was delivered feels less passionate and caring but with more hatred and contempt to man kind very different from the loving version.
2:19 Furina saw that Fontainian people didn't dissolve after the flood, she realized that she succeeded, the prophecy was avoided and her sacrifice during 500 years was not in vain, she falls in her knees and start immediately to cry as never she did in her life, her interminable battle that last a half of millenia was already over with her victory. Agghh!! Fuck!! 3 months and I am not still fully recovered 😢😭, Furina definitely is the kindest, bravest and strongest human in Teyvat. 🥰
2B and Furina actually are so similar, omg. 2B had to keep a secret from 9S and the rest of the androids, to save them from going insane, just how Furina had to fool her people to save them from the prophecy.

This version of the ost be playing when Furina joins the battle with Traveller full of spunk and energy, filling the battlefield full of hope, with her summons combating the Abyssal demons and healing the injured. Covering the Traveller's back for the Traveller to come through as Teyvat's hope. Overwhelmed by large numbers, she gasped momentarily, being taken aback by a monster sneaking from behind in that split moment, impaling her through her chest, only to fall in battle, as she flashbacks to everything that has happened, despite her anguish from physical pain.
All in her thought of how her physical pain and the suffering she had was nothing to the encroaching doom to everyone in Teyvat, always holding everyone's wellbeing before her own.
She brought forth as much summons as she could and healed all she could, before losing most of her strength
As her eyes once full of life from her release of her long theatrical suffering, her normal right eye dilate and becomes lifeless
Her fringe that was always covering her left eye, slips off her usual spot, revealing her left eye with droplet pupils slowly darkening to black by the Abyssal energy signalling her last bit of strength and consciousness left.
Furina musters her last thoughts, "It was a painful and bittersweet chapter but it brings forth new acts, but all acts must come to an end"
She smiles in pain, with tears welling up in her eyes.
She mutters out, "This is the end for my ac-"
Deafening silence filled the air before her words could finish, her corpse slowly corrupted by the Abyssal energy, disintegrating her body into nothingness.
Wow, I felt it! Now it's not a song of sadness and sacrifice, it's a song of triumph over fate 💧
The feels!!!! It's so beautiful, this demonstration! Out of the non-original Seven Archons, she's my favorite! (I have Venti bias yes, but she's as good as him, it would be a blessing to see these two meet.)
Act 5 of fontaine was both beautiful and sad.. personally, one of the best and darkest archon quests in game. Focalors was truly the god of Justice, and even in the end she laughed in the face of death literally dancing to it, knowing that she won, and Furina also did well. I also loved Furina quest quite a bit. Its quite ironical though, if one is to consider that I downright hated her before act 5 for her 'inaction'.
This is utterly amazing! I can't describe how I'm feeling, but one thing for certain, you've Done Furina justice! She may not be the Archon anymore (some say she never was) but she'll always be the God of justice.
I first heard this in Spotify and I was immediately blown away when I started to hear bits of Nier Automata's Amusement Park ost mixed in the song! Bravo!

This sounds like this could be used as a battle theme between Furina and the Traveler. Furina, desperate to tell the Traveler her secret, but knows she must protect it at all costs, even if it means against the one she knows she could confind in.
Has the same vibe as 'Anti-Aqua' from KH3 too.

Navia, Focalors, Furina and Neuvillete are simply peak of genshin impact and in my personal opinion, Furina was the best of the best.
I was absolutely moved, I want a happy ending for her but it is true that part of what caused such a stir in the community is that the ending is not completely happy... It left several scars on several characters.
Navia managed to save Spinna di Rossula and cooperated in the salvation of Fontaine but along the way she lost her father, discovered that she was betrayed by people close to her and lost 2 of her best friends and most trusted servants.
Focalors lived from day 1 when she became an archon, imprisoned for 500 years only to prepare her suicide to deceive Celestia and give happiness to her people.
Neuvillete always felt distant from humans, finally he managed to understand them and recover his original power... But he was seriously distressed to see so much sacrifice made by Furina and Focalos just for him to recover his powers and give his verdict of innocence to the citizens of Fontaine, in addition, of the serious depression that immortal entities usually have.
And Furina, ufff, Furina.
The 500-year act is already one thing but it is explained to you that for hundreds of years she did everything she could to prevent the prophecy. She spread informants throughout Teyvat to gather information against the prophecy, Furina traveled through the 7 nations of Teyvat without managing to find anything and Furina invested in the scientific community of Fontaine so that they would find something to counter the prophecy with Science but NOTHING worked, then Neuvillete shows her the list of Spinna di Rossula's dead and Furina understood that all her efforts were being useless, people were still dying and the only thing she could do was continue acting like a goddess, in addition, they also explain to you what to act for so many years she mentally broke her in such a way that she no longer knows what she was like originally, she only knows her personality when it comes to acting as an archon, she was attacked by Arlecchino leaving her traumatized, doubted by her own people and the cherry on the top int the depression cake is that Furina never asked for some fame in exchange for this... Simply, according to Neuvillete, after hearing the end of Focalors, she just sighed saying that she was tired of everything and packed her things to live like a normal person.
Charllote offered her an interview to tell everything and Neuvillete possibly would have been open to helping Furina spread the news about everything she sacrificed... But she simply rejected those 2 opportunities.
She simply accepted a normal life without any kind of pleasure in a city where they will never be aware of everything she also did for it while the spotlight will focus on Navia, those who found the gigantic ark that Wriothesley used and in Neuvillete.
That's what I call a hero... And a tragic one at that, since even though people still seem to love her and applaud her in theaters, it's just that, theater.
Furina knows that no one applauds her for who she is, Furina has no friends and if you have her as a character you will know very well that she is a very lonely person. She always wanted friends but being an archon made her a very lonely person since people put her on a pedestal where no one wanted to get close to her because they thought that being friends with a goddess like her was impossible.
According to her elemental ability, in the background there is a text that explains that usually on Wednesdays she suffers attacks of melancholy and says that she would like to have friends to eat cake with her and says that surely one day she will have someone like that.
Furina's need for friends is such that she developed a personal attachment to her hydro creations that she uses in her elemental ability... Oh my god Hoyoverse, what a character they just made.
