      True. It's meanless if you don't know what he is singing about. Huge accent is on lyrics.

      Exactly my thought. Listening to Balasevic without knowing the native language is like reading about making love to someone, without actually ever doing it. Completely two different experiences.

      agree. whoever requested this song or any by Balasevic should have said that. even subtitled lyrics are amateurish and not give true sense what this song is about. let alone one should know history of Serbia and Yugoslavia of 90' last century. such a shame

    Dear friend, you made there one awesome reaction there. I just love it.
    Djorde means George (translated to be precise). Djordje Balasevic is from city of Novi Sad (today's Serbia). The people from former Yugoslavia do love to listen to his songs (well some of them). Unfortunately, he passed away in 2021 (God rest his soul).
    Since he mentioned Toronto, probably he traveled to world.
    Anyhow, speaking of reactions, I was thinking to do next following songs from the mentioned singer. And those are:
    Djorde Balasevic - Virovitica;
    Djorde Balasevic - Mirka;
    Djorde Balasevic - Celovečernji The Kid;
    Djorde Balasevic - Don Francisco Long Play;
    Djorde Balasevic - Sugar Rap;
    Djorde Balasevic - Drago Mi Je Zbog Mog Starog;
    Djorde Balasevic - Boža Zvani Pub;
    Djorde Balasevic - Nisam Bio Ja Za Nju;
    Djorde Balasevic - Neki Novi Klinci;
    Djorde Balasevic - Svirajte Mi Jesen Stiže Dunjo Moja;
    Djorde Balasevic - Moj Stari Frend Ima Rokenrol Bend;
    Djorde Balasevic - Oprosti mi Katrin.
    If I remember of something else, I will type down. Also some others are willing to type which song reactions from Djorde Balasevic are willing to hear as well.
    Thanks a lot dear friend. Long live Yugoslav Rock 'n' Roll 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟💙🤍❤🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🤓😎

      Takođe ako misliš da ćeš mi odmoći oko komentara ili predloga, mogu reći da si pogrešio / porgrešila i to debelo. Ti meni čak štaviše pomažeš oko komentara. To važi i za ostale koji će da pišu mrziteljske komentare (tzv. hejterski komentari).
      Ako ja nešto ne volim ili ne gotivim, nemam potrebe da komentarišem, no jednostavno ne gledam takav sadržaj. Takođe nemam potrebe da smaram druge ljude oko toga.
      Izuči kako funkcioniše taj You Tube algoritam, to ti je moj jedan topli savet.
      A ako se tebi ne dopadaju predlozi postoji jedan vid vaspitanja koji kaže ovako: ,,O ukusima se ne rasrpavlja."
      Zato bolje idi onda da gledaš neki sadržaj koji te ispunjuje.

    This is certainly one of the strongest anthems of *human freedom* and *celebration of life and art* that exists in the world. I'm not sure if google can translate that to feel authentic, and I sincerely pity anyone who can't get the gist of what's being said. Unfortunately, many do not understand regardless of the translations, even though they know the poet's language. When he died, there was a spontaneous wave of mourning throughout the region, regardless of (seemingly mutually intolerant) nationalities.
