I'm glad this is about feelings. Geddy Lee, Bourke Shelley, Jack Bruce, Lemmy, Phil Lynott, Gordon Sumner, Ben Orr, Entwhistle, Grump Waters, Quatro, Kim Gordon, Peter Cetera, Glenn Hughes, Creepy Gene, Greg Lake, Brian Wilson, Rick Danko & John Wetton along with less famous like Steve Kilby,Ted Mulry, the bloke from Pilot, etc etc all feel they are not worthy. Such silliness is legion amongst Macca fans of course.

Just imagine, a little 9 year old girl, standing outside Tampa stadium, surrounded by Beatles fans, waiting for the doors to open. This little girl's dad has hyped her up for this concert her whole life, she's so excited that she's in tears, as she's listening to Paul FREAKING McCartney doing a sound check!
I saw him again in 1994. I cried then too lol. It's hard to believe he's still kicking @ss and taking names on stage!

John bought the poster at a " junk shop" (antique store!) during filming of Strawberry Fields promo film. Paul showed up at Johns place and they BOTH wrote this one...we all say " Hey it's a John song..." But Paul wrote a lot of the phrasing, timing. He and John both changed the words off the poster. There was no Henry the Horse. It was Zephyr! Rhyme something with that one! Credit George Martin for colorizing the black and white poster with all those Circus Sounds so we all could have a Splendid Time!

Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite исполнителя (группы) Beatles, The
Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite (оригинал The Beatles)
For the benefit of Mr. Kite
There will be a show tonight on trampoline.
The Hendersons will all be there
Late of Pablo Fanques Fair -
    What a scene!
Over men and horses hoops and garters
Lastly through a hogshead of real fire!
In this way Mr. K. will challenge the world!
    The celebrated Mr. K.
Performs his feat on Saturday at Bishopsgate.
The Hendersons will dance and sing
As Mr. Kite flys through the ring don't be late
Messrs. K. and H. assure the public
Their production will be second to none
And of course Henry The Horse dances the waltz!
The band begins at ten to six
When Mr. K. performs his tricks without a sound
    And Mr. H. will demonstrate
Ten summersets he'll undertake on solid ground
Having been some days in preparation
A splendid time is guaranteed for all
And tonight Mr. Kite is topping the bill!

In the original recording and throughout all of 1967 and into '68, Paul used the Rick bass...I believe sunburst with white pick guard. That bass had a very distinctive sound different from the Hofner. Geddy Lee of Rush plays the same Rickenbacker bass Paul played in the psychedelic days...I forget the model number.
