- From the book "Test Simple": Test Simple measures two areas: 1) the degree of complexity one can handle; and, 2) the consistency with which one can hold "irrational force," such as distraction or loss of focus, at bay while handling complex factual material. Dealing with complexity requires clarity of thought, power of grasp, and persistence of effort. Success in holding distraction under control is a measure of the stability and consistency of problem-solving ability.
Test Simple provides an objective structure by which to assess goal-oriented mental functioning. Persons are compared against problem requirements rather than being assessed statistically against the performances of other testees.
Test Simple methodology views a person as an inviolable integral being, not as a composite of distinct mental functions . The question posed by any Test Simple version is: "With all of your strengths and characteristics, what degree of problem complexity can you handle successfully?"
