Legit started crying when i saw it in theaters. Also, that scene was the ONLY time the cinema was completely quiet. Like, usually when you go to cinemas its not completely silent, you have this or that person talking so there's always this soft murmur going on throughout any movie. But this though, it silenced the skeptic, it made a grown ass man shed a tear. This is a masterpiece. Thank you Makoto-sensei for making such a wonderful movie.

This cover is amazing. It captures the emotions expressed throughout the song very accurately. The soothing and melodious start, the "calm before the storm" type of quiet and delicate expression during the midsection (in the movie, when Mitsuha stumbles and falls on the ground), then the explosive, powerful music towards the end. I can visualize the movie playing out as I listen to your music. Absolutely brilliant!
The sound of his fingernails on the strings in the beginning makes it sound like water dripping on glass while he's playing. It adds to the whole song. This is lovely
I think it’s a really really big coincidence that my friend introduced this anime to me 2 days ago and I fell in love with the soundtrack and wished Sungha Jung had played this and here it is now😍! Wow such a coincidence!
