I play this game since Un'goro (April 2017) and I never gave any money for packs or anything else. I always buy pack from in-game gold. First time hitting legend after year and a half (end of 2018), and in last 3 years I'm literally every single season legend. Now there is a catch, I always disenchant cards that goes to wild after rotation (keep some legendaries, 4-5 maybe), and craft cards from that dust. So yeah, you can hit legend as a free to play player.
I’m sorry, but how the hell you’re supposed to win with standard game deck above gold league? It’s almost impossible so you kinda need to pay money for packs in order to get more cards hence why I only play other gamemodes
I'm f2p ever since barrens, built up only one deck going by cards that I get and dust relying on the legend cards that I got from quest then building around it. Reaching high Platinum at most. So I have managed to horde upto 19,000 not accounting for the countless arena and duels runs plus mini sets. I got into diamond 5 last month by building spell mage, not only was it cheap but It could beat tier 1 decks like warrior and such. The only reason I didn't reach legend was because of time constraint of playing gold to Diamond 5 in just 2 days before end season Hearthstone is a past time of mine as well since I prefer playing fps or Strategy games. So it is definetly possible to reach legend as F2P.
@@fernando4959 right, and how many packs do you receive by playing every season? 5-6? Regardless of how much gold you save up you still need to buy 20+ packs minimum in order to have a useable or fun deck. At the end of the day I don’t mean you CANT do it, it will just take months of losing and not having fun in the game in order to do it
I think is not an accomplishment anymore. I started playing 3 days ago and got D4 with shopper dh only, too many bots, meta decks are very cheap and new accounts get one for free. Ironically plaguebearer DK is one of the best decks you can get for free and is the one you went for this challenge Good content tho

I personally like to watch a variety of decks.
0.5-1 year to get good deck and learn how to play if u f2p player
