      Go to the Dallas Reddit page, there's a popular post from 2001-2021 that shows how fast Dallas grew. It's now the 4th largest city (metro)
      20 years ago the AAC was basically out there all alone, now it's like a full grown city was built around it. 🥴

    Great Video Tapp always great work.. I really can't find drone videos of the Dallas Fort Worth area better than yours, the music is perfect to. I highly recommend that you get a capture from the Dallas Renaissance Hotel (Not Tower) looking south. I have not seen a single drone capture from this vantage point. Los Colinas, Richardson/Galleria 635 Area are good areas to capture . Northside Drive in Fort Worth provides a good view as well. Sams Club on Bryant Irvin Road if you got good distance on your drone will yield and excellent shot of Fort Worth. Park Lane Bridge in Dallas is another good shot on Central looking south towards Dallas it chips in a few more buildings to the overall picture. Thanks for the video once again really enjoyed it.

      Dallas has always been a pretty city. To locate these areas, visit all the neighborhoods where they have built a Trader Joe's. Between the shopping centers of Lakewood and Casa Linda is quite pretty in East Dallas around White Rock as is the neighborhood of North Oak Cliff between the Bishops Arts District and Jefferson Boulevard.

      Ya Houston has focused more on suburban growth rather then downtown growth. There’s a fair bit of new construction in downtown Houston but it’s smaller then the large buildings that have dominated the skyline since the 90s. It’s picking up though, not quite like Dallas but hopefully both of these cities continue to grow, and then the high speed rail can connect them and we can see more growth in between. Both cities have amazing potential.

    Houston has neighborhood skylines that Rivals Dallas's downtown Skyline

    • @WilliamJones-sf5pt
      @WilliamJones-sf5pt ปีที่แล้ว

      Central Dallas is developing three luxury shopping districts. These are Mainstreet downtown in and around the Joule Hotel and the Neiman Marcus Department Store, the area of Uptown in and around The Crescent / Harwood districts, and Knox-Henderson.
      In Dallas, what they have figured out is they won't come an office building if you just build it. However, build iconic shopping centers and tall buildings will get built.
      In its Northpark Center and the Galleria Dallas, Dallas has two iconic malls to the one Galleria in Houston.

    • @detrick707
      @detrick707 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WilliamJones-sf5pt Houston is on another tear level when it comes to being a city. Dallas is not on that level. Watch the 3-minute video on TH-cam called Houston Texas inner city skyline drone just to rub in my point. And that's not even half of the buildings that we have sir. Dallas needs to focus on somehow becoming bigger than San Antonio before they even consider stepping up to the final boss Houston

    • @WilliamJones-sf5pt
      @WilliamJones-sf5pt ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@detrick707 Uhm? If you want to travel to look at buildings, go to Toronto. Houston and Dallas contrast. Houston would build a tall skyscraper out in the suburbs and then build cheap retail around them. In Dallas, the long tradition has been to create iconic shopping centers.
      Again, the two cities contrast. If you want to do lots of shopping at stores with eye candy, one can spend a week in Dallas. Houston only has its Galleria.

    • @detrick707

      @@WilliamJones-sf5pt you have no idea about Houston shopping if you think we only have the Galleria Dallas is not on our level as a city and you should take a trip here. And no one in Houston looks at Dallas as being Superior but we actually look at it as a small City compared to ours

  • @WilliamJones-sf5pt
    @WilliamJones-sf5pt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yet, the most beautiful aspect about Dallas isn't its tall buildings - Toronto has those - but it's shopping centers. While Houston has its Houston Galleria in Uptown, it could be said that Dallas has the equivalent of five Houston Gallerias or better:
    1) Northpark Center
    2) Highland Park Village
    3) The Crescent / Harwood Districts
    4) Neiman Marcus / Joule Hotel / Forty-Five-Tem downtown
    5) The Galleria Dallas
    (Notice how I didn't include Knox-Henderson or West Village)

    • @CAPtinplanet
      @CAPtinplanet 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      😂 there is no equivalent to the Houston galleria in Dallas. Dallas does do a better job at spreading high end shopping across the metroplex though. and the malls there are NICE, but come on "5 equivalents or better" stop that.

      @@CAPtinplanetI think the Houston Galleria has grown beyond its original intimacy. It has become a monstrosity. So I no longer consider it in the same class as either Northpark Center or The Galleria Dallas. Highland Park Village is the first shopping center built in the nation. Meanwhile, downtown Houston has no equivalent to Mainstreet Downtown Dallas. Ultimately, the writing is on the wall that one day all of these Dallas shopping centers, malls, and department stores will be surpassed in scale by The Crescent/ Harwood District.
