Well said. In 2007 I went to El Salvador for a summer to help with some humanitarian projects, including microfinance. When I heard the bitcoin news on Saturday I gasped and my kids were asking me what happened as I stood there with my mouth open. Incredibly inspiring news that I can't help but get emotional. The amount of good it will do for these wonderful people is unquantifiable. As a tiny example, it would allow direct funding to an orphanage I had worked with in Ilopango that was struggling to set up a computer lab in an effort to helps those kids get a job when they leave instead of reverting to crime and gangs to survive (a prevalent vicious cycle). Not to mention all the hard working women who work every day to create clothing, food, and crafts but are subject to the risks of dealing with cash and corruption. Net of everything, I believe crypto adoption by central american countries is a massive good that will have positive ripple effects throughout the region.
Life will not change in central america because of bitcoin, wtf. Corruption, greed, discrimination, education, wealth, will never end unfortunately.

Same, I think most people have humble demands, just want to be debt free and escape the daily toil. If I can live modestly and pursue stuff I care about, I'll be happy. Bitcoin has already brought me a lot closer!

As for credit card debt I'm only in CC debt because I spent it on bitcoin hahah. So it will be resolved eventually. I just knew I had to get a whole coin or two now before it someday becomes impossible for the average joe, if that temporarily puts me in debt so be it.

Well I think it's working there may be other currencies like it that may be even better.But in the meantime, there's a big industry around Bitcoin-people have made fortunes off Bitcoin, some have lost money . it's is volatile,but people make money off volatility too.
When Bitcoin currency is converted from currency into cash, that interface has to remain under some regulatory safeguards. I think the fact that within the bitcoin universe an algorithm replaces the function of the government... (that) is actually pretty cool.
It is not a speculative investment even though it is being used as such by other people. As Bitcoin network grows the value of Bitcoin grows. As people move into Bitcoin for payment and receipts they stop using US Dollars,Euros and Chinese Yuan which in the long-term devalues these currencies.

@@JacobWolfman I don't. I've seen it a few times, but Keiser is too over-the-top for my taste. I agree he's much smarter and more well-informed that Carols Matos. But laypeople online see none of that. They see Keiser = Carlos. And then Saylor comes onstage and they're like, "Wait, that's that guy my programmer friend told me about. The guy who bought nothing but Bitcoin with his company's whole treasury. I knew he was crazy. Look at them. Two peas in a pod." Not a good look.
