Clutch thing is true. It needs a tune. They neutered this thing pretty bad from factory for emissions. Tune will also fix the flat spot in between shiftcam changes.
That is one beautiful bike! I loved the interview style mixed with the motovlog perspective on this one -- would love to see more bike reviews done this way.
I never really like the front of the BMW's but man it grew on me quickly and you are right it is beautiful. Glad you liked the video style, tried something a little different.
The newer generation of the S1000RR is probably my favorite looking bike! Really wish my bike had cruise control!! I could definitely see that friction point being very annoying until you get used to it. Real good review man!!
Tall first for track and a fast take up on the clutch. I hear the clutch can take a lot of abuse, so a bit of extra slip shouldn't be a real issue, just a matter of getting accustomed.
Not my type of bike or riding style, however I was engaged the whole time during this review. Very clear and what I believe would be relatable points for sport bike riders, and I’m sure that potential buyers will get great value from this video.
Dude that bike is beautiful and seeing it going down the road it just looks and sounds amazing.. I really like the format of the interview with the riding mixed in.. another great video bro
Suzuki's bike sales make up a measly 5% of their total sales. They still sell cars in other countries, outboards, etc. In actuality, we're lucky we got a 3rd gen busa. I'd LOVE to have a new busa, you lucky dog! This bmw is awesome, probably would be my choice if I were buying the ultimate litre bike.
I recently saw a youtube video of a japanese rider whipping a hayabusa around cones as if he were on a s1000RR !!! Quite amazing. I'm sure he felt the weight, but he maneuvered the bike as if it weighted 200lbs less than it was...also, for a person like me that stands 6'3" and weigh 240 lbs the busa is a much better fit...but I do know some guys my height that feels good on the s1000rr but they can't ride for very long..lol..
Do you have a link for the video that you can share? The Hayabusa can be very maneuverable and has no problems carving up a canyon . For the average rider in most conditions on the road, the advantage of something like an S1000RR is minimal but it feels better in some of those situations. That said rather be on my Hayabusa if it's a long ride.

The clutch was the same on the S1000XR, they're so similar in a lot of way other than the form factor obviously :D Out of interest how is it space and comfort wise compared to the Busa? This is another bucket list bike for me. I'd absolutely love one. Haha it's a sprightly bike I see :P The QS and blipper on the BMWs are brilliant I think. Really good system. Probably the best I've used.
Awesome, I wanted to try something different with the garage/vlog stuff. The clutch was weird for sure...the Busa is way more comfortable. I would say the reach to the bars isn't much different but the BMW has the hardest fucking seat ever. But, compared to the Busa even the Saddlemen seat on my ZX10 feels like plywood. I thought the QS and blipper were brilliant as well. Better then the Busa. Just cleaner and more crisp is how I would describe it.
Great review! I couldn't decide which 'hard-core' sport-race bike to add back after trading in my '08 1098 in 2019. You know, the bike that sits in the garage way too much since they beat the crap out of you on the ever-growing bad roads in AZ from our population explosion. S1000, Panigale, RSV4, one of the big 4 Asian, etc. (After I had my 'other' knee replaced, I figured I was ready for another torture rack.) Yeah the Gen3 CC drove me nuts trying to find a way to toggle the trip meters while the CC was active. I think Suzi purposely tried too hard to limit the buttons AND they should have been lighted.
@@MonkeyButtRides People may poo-poo electronic suspension, but I love it on my two bikes that have it and I would have spent the extra $1500 on my '20 ZH2, if it was avail - I didn't know it was to be a '21 option. Have you sampled any supercharged Kaws?

@@ryanmalone2681 totally agree 👍 I'm not a fan of rear abs/linked systems for all the reasons you just mentioned but that just means at some point in the future I plan a abs delete for my busa
It just depends on the riding. For a long ride, or road trip I prefer the Busa. For a quick, more local sporty ride I prefer something like the S1000r. The Busa will carve a canyon just fine, don't get me wrong but it does have softer suspension (which is great for a long ride) and it will dive more under brakes and when you have to switch directions quickly you can feel the extra weight/size of the Busa next to a bike like the S1000R.
