Auto brightness actually helps saving battery life! It dims the screen when youre in low light instead of just leaving it bright for example if youre coming from a brightly lit place, even apple mentioned this somewhere
This might seem like a silly question, but I use low power mode 24/7, my phone is never not in low power mode,, is this at all bad for the battery/device?
aBackwardsSeal I do the same thing. My 7 plus is in low power mode 24/7. I can easily get 2 days before I need the plug. This is not bad for your device at all. Just turns on/off certain settings, reduces the power of the processor by 40%, and dims the screen.
Good video overall, quality of video content and visual example was nice. Thanks for taking the time on this one. I hope people understand that these are suggestions not a check list. I wanted to offer more tips and add on to your tips. Starting with the Battery Usage screen is the key to making the right adjustments. Tap on 7Days and the clock icon to see what's draining the battery the most. On the usage list pay attention to all items listed above Home&Lockscreen. These will be the applications you use the most or that consume the most battery life. You should only need to make 2 -3 adjustments, anything over that and you need to have Apple run diagnostics. Or delete the application and reinstall. Battery Save Mode handles 6 reduction for you. Wi-Fi assist doesn't drain battery and most people use under 500MB within a year. Applications that only give the option of Always and Never under the Location Services Menu automatically stop/suspend if not used for 15mins. Auto Brightness is there to help with battery life, and is effective by making the adjustments for you. If you have iPhone 7/plus my suggestions are for you, only because the device is smart enough to work smarter not harder to preserve battery. If this isn't happening have Apple check your device out. You shouldn't need a battery pack unless your work day is 10hrs or more/you won't be around power for a long period of time. Sorry so long I wanted to add your suggestions with things that I've experienced.
On a different topic, been trying to find out if it's possible to jailbreak the ATV3, can't find a definitive answer, any help would be much appreciated, Thx in advance
Thanks for the video hopefully this helps as coming from the s7 edge it's hard because I could easily get a day or 2 out of that battery but hopefully the battery can be improved in updates
To all who has iphone 7 plus. I just want to ask u something. Is it normal that the battery drain very fast when using the mobile data or my phone has a problem? When i use my ip7 to play online games the battery drains really fast. As in really fast. Thanks
I agree with, and use, most of these tips, and I typically go two full days before needing to recharge. I disagree about turning OFF auto brightness though. I think it actually uses more power (and is annoying as heck) to manually adjust your brightness every time you're in different lighting.
Well when auto brightness is enabled, the sensor is always running, thus using more energy. I adjust my brightness maybe once per day (at night), so it's a lot more efficient than auto brightness.
Done all of them 👍🏻 in the iPhone 7 my battery has never gone under 70% grate job and keep it up 👍🏻
great*
ty 😊

I have iOS 10.2 and I'm thinking about jail breaking should I do it or keep waiting since Luca todesco isn't interested in jail breaking anymore
Who said he isn't interested in jailbreaking anymore? A JB for 10.2 isn't out yet but Luca will release it soon

ryan lee You have a 7plus? Have you tried turning on low power mode after the device is fully charged? Try leaving it on and see if that helps.
