im only 14 and broke my fibula at gymanstics! i’ve been in a cast, on crutches, and non-weight bearing for almost a month now but this workout is really good (even if I couldn’t do most of it ) thank you so much for making it 💗💗

Oh my goodness, I am so grateful for this video. I broke my ankle in November and had surgery December 1st. I have been so frustrated. I was swimming and playing pickleball before the break. And going from that to nothing was so hard. I finally thought I have to do something I’m just sitting here getting weaker and weaker. I just found you a couple of days ago. Life changer!!! I already feel stronger. Thank you so much. I have 2 1/2 more weeks non weight bearing so it’s nice to be able to do a little while I’m still down. So grateful!!!

@fitnessa1 injured my 5th metatarsal Nov 19 2023 trying to get better doctor saying no surgery just give time to heal. And he telling me to try to transfer into a regular shoe and try to walk on it but nervous too walk on don't want to do no more damage
Ok, just finished workout, with a few stops along the way 😅. Just realized I don't really ever workout my hips and glutes, at least not like this. I am thoroughly impressed with all you ladies who can do this workout without a problem. 😵

You are good friend. I had ankle/foot surgery on May 2 . Total reconstruction on arch. Heal resection. Pin, screws. Going to be 2 months no weight bearing - then rehab, like everyone else in the same boat. These videos are great. I cannot wait to get back to pool, yoga, skiing etc, but I must. Be sue rto check out the “iwalk” walking assist device, for use during ankle injury recovery, for your friend. It is the bomb!
Everyone has no doubt healed since this video was made. Me, not so lucky...rehabilitating after major foot surgery. This has been a life saver. I am nearly 70 and usually walk about 8 kms daily. I was in boot after breaking my 4th metatarsal for about 10 weeks and did this workout consistently (at least once per week but usually twice), and it helped me sooooo much in my recovery, both physically and mentally. THANK YOU.
Day before I turned 65, (a week ago) I broke my ankle and foot (no surgery needed, so I count myself very lucky!) Hadn't missed a morning ride on my bike (on trainer) and yoga for 4-5 years. Not an option to stop everything. Along with rest and ice, I've done some form of strength & flexibility exercise to keep my muscle toned and so I don't injure my "good leg/foot." Also read that hip mobility can suffer with these injuries- so these exercises are wonderful to keep my hips strong and flexible. Thank you for this video!
I broke the exact same bone in my foot and I broke it stepping off a small step that I did not see. I have been in a boot now for three weeks. I’m 73 years old and was in amazing physical shape because I went to the gym almost every day. This injury was extremely depressing for me but am thrilled to find something to do instead of watching my muscles turn to mush!!!!
I fractured my fibula about 5 weeks ago and this workout has helped me so much! I was in tip-top shape after doing strenuous hikes all season and was so bummed about losing my conditioning, but this became one of my go-to things for keeping my mind and body on the right track. Ruptured my tendon during ballet class because I didn’t let my body rest enough. I was feeling so devastated as dance is an essential part of my life and was so angry at myself for not listening to my body even though I should’ve known better. Stumbled on this workout while looking for some exercises after foot surgery. So far I've only made it 12 minutes in; gonna try every day until I can make all 30 minutes (hopefully by the time my foot is healed!) I like the format here (no talking, just music and visual intros on each step). Will have to checkout more of Fitnessa when I'm back on two feet.

broke my 5th metatarsal 2 weeks ago on my first days holiday in NYC after waiting 20 years to get there! absolutely gutted but didnt let it spoil my break and hobbled around all the sights. I tweaked my ankle pretty bad going uphill and was down for 5 days. It was starting to depress me that I wasn't able to get outside and walk/run so I came to TH-cam! Thank you for this, my tootie BURNS

In 2008, I dislocated my tibia and broke my fibula. 2 plates, 13 screws were put on and then removed a year later. Always had ankle problems since then, not about a week ago my ankle got very very mad... New Mri and xray show significant arthritis, bone growth where is it not supposed to be, cysts, cracks in the midal dome. Trying to stay positive, but boy., it's hard. I normally weight train to other TH-cam channels, glad to have found yours. See the doctors in 4 weeks.

Love the workout! I injured my foot playing tennis and had two ligaments and two tendons surgically repaired. After sitting around for a few weeks, I searched for a non-weightbearing workout and found this. It's great! Like the music, too. A soundtrack would be great so I can buy some of the songs.😊
I'm 16 and unknowingly ran on a stress fracture on the second metatarsal almost all cross country season. I just got put in a boot this week and ordered to not bear weight on my foot. I'm not supposed to run for 2-3 months. I'm going to try this workout over the next week or so and see how it goes!

Thank you so much for this. I broke my third metatarsal on my left foot a week ago at Taekwondo and I'm now in a boot. Thankfully, the fracture is minimally displaced, so I wouldn't need surgery. I've been searching for several non-weight-bearing leg-focused exercises I can do in my down time and this workout is the only one that I really enjoyed so far.
Broke my 5th metatarsal on my right foot back in July of 2023, it never healed right and I kept injuring it. Got foot surgery back in March. 4 screws and one plate. Still in recovery. This process has been utterly devastating but this workout has kept me motivated and on the right track!
I missed a step on my daughter’s stairs and fractured my right foot. So bummed since I LOVE to run and walk. This video was awesome… I’m actually sore. Will definitely repeat it!😊
Broke my heel 4th of July. 6 screws and a plate. So thankful to find workouts I can do! Not a lot of blood flow to the heel so working out seems necessary to get the blood flowing to improve healing!
I hope you heal quickly!! I felt the same way - it's hard to get blood flow to the bones in the foot and so I felt like exercising helped blood flow a little more!! Who knows.. but it did help me feel better anyways ;)

Did you have to have your metatarsal bones fixed in place with a surgery? How long did your recovery take? Did the whole process take multiple surgeries first to fix the bones spacing, followed by surgery to fix the ligaments? How long were you in casts with all these processees?

I went ice skating in South Carolina on vacation and broke my left fibula. I was in a cast for 2 months and now I have been in a boot for a month. I am praying I can walk again before summer. Thank you for the awesome workout video. 😀
Best workout in my boot! These glutes are angry😂. Medial tibia shin syndrome (MTSS, apparently, it’s a thing 🤷♀️) and I’m in week 4 of my 6 week boot and non weight bearing journey protecting my tibia from fracture. 🙏🏻it heals and I can resume walking and workouts. Thank you for making this video! I twisted my ankle doing yard work 😑 so this is perfect for getting some movement in while my ankle heals. I put an ankle weight on my opposite leg to compensate for the boot weight on my twisted one. I hope your foot is healing well!
Broke my 5th metatarsel and have really struggled to keep up any fitness so these videos have been amazing thank you! If possible would you consider looking at doing the exercises on each side before moving to the next exercise? Personally I am struggling with just exercising the one side before we do the next but I know that's because I am so unfit.. Just a thought. Thank you!

I have a fractured toe and loved your class. I liked the way you worked on one leg and didn’t alternate between legs. This gave a bigger burn.

Stumbled on this workout while looking for some exercises after foot surgery. So far I've only made it 12 minutes in; gonna try every day until I can make all 30 minutes (hopefully by the time my foot is healed!)

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for this video. It hit my heart rate up and my booty was on fire. I recently fractured my foot (same as you just left foot) and have been really depressed about it. This was. Great video and hope there are more like it for upper body on your channel!

I also broke my right 5th metatarsal but my story isn’t even as cool as yours I just missed a step on the stairs in my house. 😅 I consider myself lucky that it’s only 6 weeks in a boot and I’m on week 5 right now. Ankle dislocation and fracture with surgery and bed rest but I was depressed that can’t do work out but saw ur hurt foot work out videos and got happy and started doing on my seven day of surgery

broke my 5th metatarsal 2 weeks ago on my first days holiday in NYC after waiting 20 years to get there! absolutely gutted but didnt let it spoil my break and hobbled around all the sights. Was so depressed to not be able to run or exercise and am so glad ive found this routine to complete at home. Thank you

I tweaked my ankle pretty bad going uphill and was down for 5 days. It was starting to depress me that I wasn't able to get outside and walk/run so I came to TH-cam! Thank you for this, my tootie BURNS

In 2008, I dislocated my tibia and broke my fibula. 2 plates, 13 screws were put on and then removed a year later.
Always had ankle problems since then, not about a week ago my ankle got very very mad... New Mri and xray show significant arthritis, bone growth where is it not supposed to be, cysts, cracks in the midal dome. Trying to stay positive, but boy., it's hard. I normally weight train to other TH-cam channels, glad to have found yours. See the doctors in 4 weeks.

Love the workout! I injured my foot playing tennis and had two ligaments and two tendons surgically repaired. After sitting around for a few weeks, I searched for a non-weightbearing workout and found this. It's great! Like the music, too. A soundtrack would be great so I can buy some of the songs.😊
I'm 16 and unknowingly ran on a stress fracture on the second metatarsal almost all cross country season. I just got put in a boot this week and ordered to not bear weight on my foot. I'm not supposed to run for 2-3 months. I'm going to try this workout over the next week or so and see how it goes!

Thank you so much for this. I broke my third metatarsal on my left foot a week ago at Taekwondo and I'm now in a boot. Thankfully, the fracture is minimally displaced, so I wouldn't need surgery. I've been searching for several non-weight-bearing leg-focused exercises I can do in my down time and this workout is the only one that I really enjoyed so far.

Broke my 5th metatarsal on my right foot back in July of 2023, it never healed right and I kept injuring it. Got foot surgery back in March. 4 screws and one plate. Still in recovery. This process has been utterly devastating but this workout has kept me motivated and on the right track!

Broke my heel 4th of July. 6 screws and a plate. So thankful to find workouts I can do! Not a lot of blood flow to the heel so working out seems necessary to get the blood flowing to improve healing!
I hope you heal quickly!! I felt the same way - it's hard to get blood flow to the bones in the foot and so I felt like exercising helped blood flow a little more!! Who knows.. but it did help me feel better anyways ;)

Lisfranc ruptured ligament from coed soccer game. I’m 2.5 weeks post surgery and was looking for some workouts I could do so I don’t lose all my muscle mass. Thank you for posting this!!

Did you have to have your metatarsal bones fixed in place with a surgery? How long did your recovery take? Did the whole process take multiple surgeries first to fix the bones spacing, followed by surgery to fix the ligaments? How long were you in casts with all these processees?
Thank you so much for doing this video it was great!. My lisfranc injury is Extensive midfoot fracturing involving the first to fourth metatarsal bases and medial and lateral cuneiforms, including rupture of the Lisfranc ligamentous complex. I had surgery 3 plates and 15 screws 😫😫

Best workout in my boot! These glutes are angry😂. Medial tibia shin syndrome (MTSS, apparently, it’s a thing 🤷♀️) and I’m in week 4 of my 6 week boot and non weight bearing journey protecting my tibia from fracture. 🙏🏻it heals and I can resume walking and workouts.

Hey there, your comment is pretty old… how did your surgery go? And how are you doing now? I have two torn ankle ligaments, and a third very stretched one, and an ankle talus fracture.
Thank you for making this video! I twisted my ankle doing yard work 😑 so this is perfect for getting some movement in while my ankle heals. I put an ankle weight on my opposite leg to compensate for the boot weight on my twisted one.

Broke my 5th metatarsel and have really struggled to keep up any fitness so these videos have been amazing thank you! If possible would you consider looking at doing the exercises on each side before moving to the next exercise? Personally I am struggling with just exercising the one side before we do the next but I know that's because I am so unfit.. Just a thought. Thank you!
