I'm glad you figured out the problem. I wonder if it's a tired spring that's not pulling the pedal back up where it should be? I think JD stopped using the plastic transmissions due to them being problematic.
@@tallboyyyy they probably had lots of warranty issues. I can only imagine how hard it is for the John Deere dealers to warranty such an awful transmission. I am thinking that a spring broke that pulls the pedal back into the home position. I plan on looking at this a bit closer when my grandparents get back from vacation.
