If you decide the silver supports are needed, I feel you'll get used to them, enjoying their reflections from the light and other items in the room. The brown chair is a perfect colour, not too bold ir demanding but complementary with it's shared companions. You've added colour and interest through the shapes in your green plants. The shadows they cast must be beautiful to see. The chair in the beginning by the balcony entrance was nice it had the roller beside it on the step-shelf like an exhibition piece. It's quite happy to have moved closer to the standing books. I mentioned the above because it brought my attention to your light grained floor. It's colour ties with the buildings outside and the temple that's framed within the distance. The whole room ties together well. You have made the space your own and the joy will flow daily.
