I have done some Googling and found translations to Feral Chaos' HP attacks. Lux Magnus: A Great Light, or Great Light. Via Dolorosa: Sorrowful Way. Ventus Ire: Angry Wind Quo Vadis: Where are you going Flagro Maximus: The Greatest Scourge, or The Greatest Flare.
I've always found that when Feral Chaos uses Lux Magnus, even if he's at maximum height and you're on the ground, you do you an attack like an HP attack, he'll cancel his move and drop down a fair distance. If he's not that high up, he may fall straight into your attack.
If anyone else tried to summon themselves, they would only be mocked by others. Gilgamesh though, he's so awesome that to me, he's the ONLY (if not a few others) character(s) I have respect for in FFV. He may carry multiple copies of the original, but I agree, Gilgamesh truly does wield the greatest sword there is.
I'd have ended it with an Excalipoor EX. Just so that you can say that you finished him off with the weakest weapon in the game. "This is far from the strongest of swords!" *Plink*
i perfer exp 2 hp he does hit HARD damn feral chaos is hard the lvl 95 versiob was insane one of the add on the lvl 95 feral chaos made him hard 2 kill
why u enter ex burst everytime u deal hp damage? since u have equip exp to ex force, everytime u hp damage feral, your ex gauge will fully fill (depend on your hp hit) and u can stay in ex mode for the entire duration and enter ex burst when your bravery is one-hit victory. this is just my opinion :)

You should have done the Excalipoor ultimate instead since he was already half past dead. It would have been the cherry on top of this fight.
