    It's going very well Matt, I'm really enjoying these build videos and I'm looking forward to the next installment. It's a very practical way of building a shed and I think many people will benefit from watching this series for years to come.

    This series will be invaluable to anyone thinking of building their own shed rather than buying "off the peg". Enjoying it immensely.

    I seems unlikely that I will ever build anything as involved as a stand alone workshop, but this is still fascinating to watch. So many good ideas!

    Continuing from previous convo- my wife is indeed a big fan ( of Kirstie's shows .) Having watched your episode I must say you did us proud Matt, and I was so pleased you won. I thought the judge's comments were spot on, however having watched a lot of shows like this, often the best entry doesn't win, and I thought the fancy egg would take the prize- it was very good but I said to my wife that I didn't think it was decorated enough to deserve the win, and the judge must have thought the same, and the best entry did win. I am not dissing that lady's talents in any way, because some of her creations shown were spectacular, and with more time, who knows. The best won on the day and that's all that matters. Congrats again and keep these builds coming. Regards L M. ( P S - sorry it's such an essay.)

    Hi Matt. I've built a number of pitched osb roofed sheds in my time and doing the felting properly (three layers, two bonded, bottom one nailed) is a right pain. Your approach looks much easier. The curve may give a wider interior head room as well under that building regs 2.5 metre limit. It will be interesting to see how you insulate it. BobUK.

    • @Badgerworkshop
      @Badgerworkshop  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Bob. The 2.5m limit does make it a challenge

    Hi Matt I've just become a new subscriber to your channel and like you I also used to be a chef.Have just started getting into some woodworking at home and am currently in the process of getting all of my tools organised and layer out the way I need. Love the new workshop build.Cheers Aaron from OZ 😀

    A very interesting roof but it will out last a conventional felted roof. I remember many years ago removing an old Anderson shelter from my grandparents garden ( well helping the best I could ) and it was still in great shape after years of being there

    • @Badgerworkshop

    Really good guide - If you could recommend a low cost nailer to use on a project like this. which will only get home use - what would it be? I can see it would save tons of time and effort and appreciate a budget one would be a compromise, but I can't justify the cost of pro one.

    Enjoying watching your build,. I thought you were going to insulate the walls, so was surprised when you didn't put any between the osb and inside?

    Hi Matt, your series on Shepherd'S Hut and this Workshop are brilliant, and I'm starting to plan a build based on these. I'm hoping to build a 2.4 x 6m shepherd's hut if I can get a chassis ordered at that size. Just wondered where you sourced the larger roof panels, and if you had rough shopping list for both projects for comparison? Many thanks!

    Another brilliant video. Really enjoying this series. You are inspiring me to build my own work shop. That's my intention anyway. Much to think about. Do you feel 2.4m is wide enough? I know you said it was match the length of wood etc. Cheers
