Lift your knees enough that you create space between the ground and your feet. So you can easily move your legs in a rotational movement. You can also "jump" (it's more like a mini hop) to stay at one position. Try to train on lower BPM tracks to get confident with the movement. Then explode bra!
Your foot doesn't go slightly back each time. It is only in the video because I performed it slowly, so I hadn't time to correct this while lifting a foot up.
