I was reading Ezekiel 40 on wards, I did laughed when you said most people stay away from it and was going to do the same but when I realised that this was a command to Ezekiel by our Lord himself to write it down and share, then I realised whole 8 chapters of bible spoken by our lord how can I underestimate that fact and my sinful and very little mind cannot understanding but still I will read it because it's gods word and he will help me to understand it. as it talks about temple measurements, sacrificial services, prince and ownership of land and also the festival of new moon, feast of Passover. I was so perplexed that Jesus accomplished everything on the cross then why this temple worship and sacrifice. But you explained very well when we see Isaiah in parallel with Ezekiel. I felt so happy and joyful. I have still so much to lean please share any links you have regarding the same subject. Very well done! Some of these things I’d never heard before but made sense. I’ll turn in again. As for the holy days- they are Godish- not Jewish. They were never set aside by any author - not even Paul- in the New Testament. Not a salvation issue of course but simply a revaluation of scripture and a healthy questioning of what was passed down to us from Protestantism and Catholicism.
We already have all the gifts of the holy Spirit living in our hearts and authority over powers and principalities, how much more rule and reign do we need that we don't already have
Right now I can meet with Jesus in my room - but in the future I'll have to get on a plane and fly to Jerusalem to meet with him, especially if I want rain on my herb garden. How is that a better situation than now?

I would like to see a clear explanation of exactly WHO will live in the Millennial Kingdom. Will it be all believers? I see 4 distinct groups; The first is all believers who have died up to the rapture. The second is those taken in the rapture, the third is those who die during the Tribulation, and the fourth is those who survive the Tribulation.
I have had many physical signs over my life time. Lately I am getting more and closer together. One was the mark of the beast on my stoves display three times.
I believe that when Jesus returns He and those who meet Him in the clouds will be in heaven and they will rule with Him for one thousand years not on earth but in heaven. The new Jerusalem will not be on earth but in heaven. So the people on earth that did not meet Jesus in the clouds are the people that survived the tribulation and will experience joy, happiness, and peace while satan is bound for the thousand years they will be let loose to deceive them one last time before the thousand-year ends. Is this the last chance to find out if these people that experience peace will be cast into hell or be in heaven where God dwells? This is what my finite mind knows and understands.
Regarding above, going through the 1000 year reign, how can people still sin if the devil isn't around to tempt them? Yes, people still have a sin nature, but how can they lie, cheat, steal and murder throughout this time if there isn't any tempter? The devil will be in the bottomless pit, thus, not around for the 1000 years.
At some point sin is not caused by tempting for some but rather by habit. A perpetual liar is not tempted to lie, it has become his “go-to”. An alcoholic wants to drink once the addiction sets in.

Why don’t pastors consider that we are in “Satan’s little season” after the millennial reign? We, believers, don’t know who, what or when we are in the Biblical timeline. Most missed His 1st coming and sadly because of deception, most don’t know that the tribulation, judgement of the Harlot and destruction of the Beast and His 2nd coming have already happened. The key to understanding the scriptures is audience relevancy. Who was our savior and the other writer’s speaking to? There were literal flesh and blood people standing there listening to them speak. The scriptures were written “for” us and not “to” us. The words of our messiah were very clear: “Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom” Matt. 16:28 “Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation” Matt. 23:36 “Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place” Matt 24:34 Matt 24:34 is the stumbling block for most pastors; what things had to take place before his 2nd coming? 1) The gospel must first be preached to all the nations. Was it? Research Col. 1:5-6, Col. 1:23, Rom. 10:16-18, Rom. 16:25-26, Rev. 14:6 2) The abomination of desolation. Research 70 A.D. What could be more abominable than the continuation of animal sacrifices after our Saviour ascended? Prov. 21:27 Futurist pastors assume these are future events, yet they have been fulfilled. C.S. Lewis, a widely read scholar and lay theologian went as far to say that this is an embarrassing scripture and imply that our messiah didn’t know what He was talking about, or He was lying. SMH There are over 170 direct and indirect references to His imminent return in the lifetime or generation of those who crucified Him. A generation in the Bible is widely accepted as 40 years. Many believe Yehusha was crucified in 33 AD, 40 years added to this puts his 2nd coming around 73 AD. (This is due to the 2300 day prophecy in Daniel) The words of the Apostle John: “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near” Rev. 1:3 “Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen” Rev. 1:7 Revelation 20 is very clear; Satan will be loosed not to tempt but to “deceive” the nations after the 1,000 years. Has there ever been a time that was marked by mass deception? It doesn’t take long if one will look around. He literally came back quickly just like He said He was going to do and reigned with the glorified saints who were martyred during the tribulation. There is not a 2,000+ year futuristic gap before His 2nd return. This should be a Faith builder; we can trust the words of our messiah. We are either descendants of the second resurrection or the offspring of the mortal bodies that made it into the millennial reign and have much to look forward to (Rev. 21-22). The good news is that once His kingdom was established, it will never end (Dan. 2:44-45 & Dan. 7:27). The Bible never talks about a third temple being built because He will never reside in a man-made temple (Acts 17:24). We are the temple, the Israel of God (Gal. 6:16) and He is still on the throne. Is your name written in the “Book of Life” is what we should be asking ourselves. Be prepared to ride out this “Little Season”. Peace and Love!
As a Christian. If I die today will I exist in a physical body in the millennial kingdom of Jesus? Will I be there in a glorified body alongside the people who are in a natural body?
Could it be that sacrifices are still required because some people will still rebel against God and even more so when satan is released after the thousand years? In other words sin still does exist in the hearts of some (you mentioned no rain or even death for the rebellious against Christ).
In this passage, the Lord will punish on high. So from my finite mind and understanding, this passage tells me that during the thousand yeard reign Jesus is not on earth.
Question. If most people are killed during the tribulation and the rest take the mark and are killed at Christs return and the righteous rule and reign with Christ. Who are the righteous going to be ruling over?
@@bultacomk2 Dear friend, the 1000 years isn't literally 1000 years. It's the period between Christ's first advent and the second advent yet to come. In this period God's elect have a fore taste of the Kingdom of God within them , their inheritance. Jesus Christ did day to unbelieving Jewish elders " the kingdom of God is within you" , speaking of Gods elect in Christ Jesus. Revelations vidily describes the heavenly city,with its 12 Pilar's I think,could be wrong. Also the jeweled floors etc. It's not literally a building city but people. The 12 are representative of the apostles and or tribes of Israel and the jewels are the people redeemed by Christ Jesus 😊.

IF it is the case that only born-again believers enter the 1000 year period when Jesus Christ rules on Earth and to afterwards spend eternity in heaven (if that’s what you are teaching?) what is the point of a 1000 year period on Earth? What about those millions who hadn’t even heard of Jesus Christ and who couldn’t even understand their need for salvation? And what about the situation where those alive now and right up to the Second Coming of Christ who did hear about the gospel but due to their circumstances of being brainwashed by Darwinian evolution and other deceptions couldn’t appreciate the facts? Another factor that I suggest needs to be taken into consideration is that of Adam who was created perfect and had no sin ruling his heart and mind. Until of course, even in that state of innocence and perfection made the deliberate choice to rebel by disobeying God’s command. We, as Adam’s descendants, are born with the corrupting nature of sin with the default position to rebel and disobey. So, whereas Adam was in a position of advantage i.e. a superior position - we are disadvantaged i.e. in an inferior position. There seems, to me at any rate, an imbalance on the scales of justice - although I, of course, could be wrong. However, it does occur to me that the purpose of the 1000 year period - where even the ‘boy’ of 100 hundred years of age can be terminated for his wilful rebellion despite the hard facts and evidence of his own life experience during this time - could be to give all unbelievers the opportunity to accept Christ as King and Saviour. I was told by a Jewish man that if an animal has been properly killed and butchered and blessed by a Rabbi, then the person consuming the meat gives thanks to God it’s considered a sacrifice/ daily sacrifice? If this is true could that verse be telling us that we will still eat meat during the millennium?
Wouldn't millennial temple sacrifices be " contemptuous" to Christ, the already sacrificed and risen "Lamb of God?" Who would be doing this on Earth at this time? Jews? Born-again believers? The Bible describes His 1000 year reign very well. Don't overthink it. Our Lord told us His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We are to prayerfully study His word and learn under His direction.

Hi Dr. Barnett, at 10:24 you say, "Sacrifices are offered again [in the Millennial Kingdom]" I looked at the scripture you cite as basis for this teaching (Isaiah 2:2-3) and it says nothing about sacrifices that I can interpret. But the whole point of animal sacrifices was to be an imperfect shadow of the perfect sacrifice that was to come in our Lord Jesus Christ. With Christ literally dwelling among us as our perfect God and King in the Millennial Kingdom, why would He reinstate the imperfect old shadow of Himself that has been superseded? Christ's sacrifice was ONCE and for ALL, and He did away with the animal sacrifice FOREVER. Christ came to FULFILL the law, as it COULD NOT be fulfilled by animal sacrifices. Hebrews 10 could not be any clearer on this. Here is Hebrews 10:5-12 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sin offerings You took no delight. Then I said, ‘Here I am, it is written about Me in the scroll: I have come to do Your will, O God.’ In the passage above He says, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings You did not desire, nor did You delight in them” (although they are offered according to the law). Then He adds, “Here I am, I have come to do Your will.” He takes away the first to establish the second. And by that will, we have been sanctified through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Day after day every priest stands to minister and to offer again and again the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when this Priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God.

The believers that are lukewarm and not fully living for Jesus wont go up. They are still believers but will have make a final choice for christ. It will be a choice that cost them their lives.

It will be an age of righteousness, not an age of grace. Notice in Ezekiel that temple sacrifice returns. All the nations will need to walk in righteousness and go up to Jerusalem once a year or they will receive no rain. They will be ruled over with an iron rod. The kingdom age will be what the world would have been like if the jews had remained faithful to the Lord from the time they entered the land of Canaan.

I think it's just the beginning of eternity, but not everything on earth will be resolved until the end of His reign, at the end of the 1000 years, when He conquers the last enemy, which is death. But for those who overcome, it is the beginning of eternity.
After the first 1,000 years of the government of Jesus Christ, Satan will be released from the bottomless pit for a short time (Revelation Chapter 20). God will send him at that time to the second death, which is the fiery lake that burns will sulfur and brimstone. Then the great white throne judgment will happen. The government of Jesus Christ is forever and will continue on the New Earth, which comes after the great white throne judgment.
Man, I can’t wait for that 1,000 years (and what happens after that!)...We could all use a break from mankind’s failures right now

As for the holy days- they are Godish- not Jewish. They were never set aside by any author - not even Paul- in the New Testament. Not a salvation issue of course but simply a revaluation of scripture and a healthy questioning of what was passed down to us from Protestantism and Catholicism.

I would like to see a clear explanation of exactly WHO will live in the Millennial Kingdom. Will it be all believers? I see 4 distinct groups; The first is all believers who have died up to the rapture. The second is those taken in the rapture, the third is those who die during the Tribulation, and the fourth is those who survive the Tribulation.
So how will we travel there

I believe that when Jesus returns He and those who meet Him in the clouds will be in heaven and they will rule with Him for one thousand years not on earth but in heaven. The new Jerusalem will not be on earth but in heaven. So the people on earth that did not meet Jesus in the clouds are the people that survived the tribulation and will experience joy, happiness, and peace while satan is bound for the thousand years they will be let loose to deceive them one last time before the thousand-year ends. Is this the last chance to find out if these people that experience peace will be cast into hell or be in heaven where God dwells? This is what my finite mind knows and understands.

Regarding above, going through the 1000 year reign, how can people still sin if the devil isn't around to tempt them? Yes, people still have a sin nature, but how can they lie, cheat, steal and murder throughout this time if there isn't any tempter? How do the resurrected and raptured saints relate to the human inhabitants?
Why don’t pastors consider that we are in “Satan’s little season” after the millennial reign? We, believers, don’t know who, what or when we are in the Biblical timeline. Most missed His 1st coming and sadly because of deception, most don’t know that the tribulation, judgement of the Harlot and destruction of the Beast and His 2nd coming have already happened. The key to understanding the scriptures is audience relevancy. Who was our savior and the other writer’s speaking to? There were literal flesh and blood people standing there listening to them speak. The scriptures were written “for” us and not “to” us. The words of our messiah were very clear:
“Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom” Matt. 16:28
“Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation” Matt. 23:36
“Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place” Matt 24:34
Matt 24:34 is the stumbling block for most pastors; what things had to take place before his 2nd coming?
1) The gospel must first be preached to all the nations. Was it? Research Col. 1:5-6, Col. 1:23, Rom. 10:16-18, Rom. 16:25-26, Rev. 14:6
2) The abomination of desolation. Research 70 A.D. What could be more abominable than the continuation of animal sacrifices after our Saviour ascended? Prov. 21:27
Futurist pastors assume these are future events, yet they have been fulfilled. C.S. Lewis, a widely read scholar and lay theologian went as far to say that this is an embarrassing scripture and imply that our messiah didn’t know what He was talking about, or He was lying. SMH
There are over 170 direct and indirect references to His imminent return in the lifetime or generation of those who crucified Him. A generation in the Bible is widely accepted as 40 years. Many believe Yehusha was crucified in 33 AD, 40 years added to this puts his 2nd coming around 73 AD. (This is due to the 2300 day prophecy in Daniel)
The words of the Apostle John:
“Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near” Rev. 1:3
“Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen” Rev. 1:7
Revelation 20 is very clear; Satan will be loosed not to tempt but to “deceive” the nations after the 1,000 years. Has there ever been a time that was marked by mass deception? It doesn’t take long if one will look around.
He literally came back quickly just like He said He was going to do and reigned with the glorified saints who were martyred during the tribulation. There is not a 2,000+ year futuristic gap before His 2nd return. This should be a Faith builder; we can trust the words of our messiah.
We are either descendants of the second resurrection or the offspring of the mortal bodies that made it into the millennial reign and have much to look forward to (Rev. 21-22). The good news is that once His kingdom was established, it will never end (Dan. 2:44-45 & Dan. 7:27). The Bible never talks about a third temple being built because He will never reside in a man-made temple (Acts 17:24). We are the temple, the Israel of God (Gal. 6:16) and He is still on the throne. Is your name written in the “Book of Life” is what we should be asking ourselves. Be prepared to ride out this “Little Season”.

Could it be that sacrifices are still required because some people will still rebel against God and even more so when satan is released after the thousand years? In other words sin still does exist in the hearts of some (you mentioned no rain or even death for the rebellious against Christ).
Where will all the raptured people be during the millennium?
In this passage, the Lord will punish on high. So from my finite mind and understanding, this passage tells me that during the thousand yeard reign Jesus is not on earth.

IF it is the case that only born-again believers enter the 1000 year period when Jesus Christ rules on Earth and to afterwards spend eternity in heaven (if that’s what you are teaching?) what is the point of a 1000 year period on Earth?
What about those millions who hadn’t even heard of Jesus Christ and who couldn’t even understand their need for salvation?
And what about the situation where those alive now and right up to the Second Coming of Christ who did hear about the gospel but due to their circumstances of being brainwashed by Darwinian evolution and other deceptions couldn’t appreciate the facts?
Another factor that I suggest needs to be taken into consideration is that of Adam who was created perfect and had no sin ruling his heart and mind. Until of course, even in that state of innocence and perfection made the deliberate choice to rebel by disobeying God’s command.
We, as Adam’s descendants, are born with the corrupting nature of sin with the default position to rebel and disobey.
So, whereas Adam was in a position of advantage i.e. a superior position - we are disadvantaged i.e. in an inferior position.
There seems, to me at any rate, an imbalance on the scales of justice - although I, of course, could be wrong.
However, it does occur to me that the purpose of the 1000 year period - where even the ‘boy’ of 100 hundred years of age can be terminated for his wilful rebellion despite the hard facts and evidence of his own life experience during this time - could be to give all unbelievers the opportunity to accept Christ as King and Saviour.

The Bible describes His 1000 year reign very well. Don't overthink it. Our Lord told us His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We are to prayerfully study His word and learn under His direction.

Hi Dr. Barnett, at 10:24 you say, "Sacrifices are offered again [in the Millennial Kingdom]" I looked at the scripture you cite as basis for this teaching (Isaiah 2:2-3) and it says nothing about sacrifices that I can interpret.
But the whole point of animal sacrifices was to be an imperfect shadow of the perfect sacrifice that was to come in our Lord Jesus Christ. With Christ literally dwelling among us as our perfect God and King in the Millennial Kingdom, why would He reinstate the imperfect old shadow of Himself that has been superseded? Christ's sacrifice was ONCE and for ALL, and He did away with the animal sacrifice FOREVER. Christ came to FULFILL the law, as it COULD NOT be fulfilled by animal sacrifices. Hebrews 10 could not be any clearer on this.

Therefore, when Christ came into the world, He said:
“Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You prepared for Me.
In burnt offerings and sin offerings You took no delight.

Then He adds, “Here I am, I have come to do Your will.” He takes away the first to establish the second. And by that will, we have been sanctified through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Day after day every priest stands to minister and to offer again and again the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when this Priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God.

King David will rule and rein in the New Jerusalem under the authority of Jesus Christ or course.
It will be an age of righteousness, not an age of grace. Notice in Ezekiel that temple sacrifice returns. All the nations will need to walk in righteousness and go up to Jerusalem once a year or they will receive no rain. They will be ruled over with an iron rod. The kingdom age will be what the world would have been like if the jews had remained faithful to the Lord from the time they entered the land of Canaan.
