Sorry to hear you're struggling with mental health, but I'm glad the book gave you what you needed. I really like your review - good summing up of the premise, lovely to hear your personal experience of the book, and nice to have a spoiler discussion. I love the honesty. Not sure about the commenter's thoughts you included - you should block them for killing the vibe :)
I know we have different opinions on the ending but it's illuminating to get somebody else's view and see how you take different things from the story. I love how the reading experience is dependent on the person and their life experience so far, so the book + person is different for each of us. I can definitely see why you loved it.
The 'What if?' aspect was my favourite part of the story. I know none of us can do anything about past decisions, only make 'better' future ones, but it's fun to see what might have been, even if the grass isn't always greener. Then again, I'd love to know what our possible selves who made different decisions make of the lives we have. Maybe they'd love to have what we have.

This is such a wholesome comment. Thank you so much! It was a bit daunting to make the review for some reason, so I'm really glad you liked it :) And the commenter's thoughts are always welcome! ✨
It really is interesting to hear a different perspective and I think it's only healthy to have one's views challenged. Of course always in a respectful way, but other point of views can be a path to some interesting reflective moments and opportunities for growth.
Yeah, I love the "What if?" part as well. It's fun to reminisce about past decision and have a few though experiments along them, but just as Nora I wouldn't change my life for any of the what if-lives.
It's an interesting point you make about the possible selves, that maybe they'd love to have what we have. I think that's an important point to remember when thinking the grass is greener somewhere else. It probably only seems greener over there, not because the life is better - we've just forgotten to take care of our own lawn.

No worries! And there’s definitely spoilers in it. Sorry, should have specificere that in the title or description 😳
And I think it’s completely gender neutral. Anyone can get something out of this book 💪🏻
Please come back and let me know your thoughts on the book, when you’ve read it 📚

Sounds lovely with the snow! We’ve had snow in Denmark for several weeks, but it disappeared a few days ago. Missing it already ❄️
