I remember seeing these guys in melbourne, Australia, when I was around 10 years of age.
I was spellbound as they were draining trick shots & half court shots at will.
They put on a great show, and it seems nothing has changed.

In 70s, 80s, their skill was spectacular. Nowadays, many people on youtube are showing more spectacular skills.
People on youtube get to edit out the shots that don't work. Globetrotters have to get it to work most all of the time live in front of spectators, no retakes.

Have you seen their Record Breaking Video. I doubt that, they've broke just about every basketball stunt record out there. Not even dude perfect could match.

Just a show, opponents don't do anything to stop them. Opponents were always the same team in every game for so many years. Of course it was nice to see them but was just a show. It would have been interesting to see them in a real game against a real team.
Feel lucky to watch Harlem when I was a kid here in the Philippines.

I was on one Harlem Globetrotters game. There live you can see that everything is fake. The team that was playing against them wasnt playing any defense. They were letting them to do anything they want and making them free space to make 2 or 3 points or dunk. The other team anyway gave lot of points to the harlem team. At the end Hralem Globetrotters won with maybe 3-4 points.
Against some eurpean team from some 3dr or even 4th leauge (which would play normal defense against them) they would lose for sure!!!
