as a child I learned my lesson. My dollar tree store once had a ton of these. In over like... 200 packs the only memorable card was Lady Penumbra or something like that. Never got anything good. You gotta wise up as an adult cause you'll never get anything you need or want from them.
I would be buying all the blisters from the sets besides the legendary sets, yes most secrets have been reprinted but we chasing high rarity like starlights and CRs.

I found one pack that was $3 at the Walmart i went to and it was the duelist pack lol. But I would love to find DAMA and LIOV next time I go to Walmart lol
They blisters have the $3 sticker because they all came from the same place. I talked to one of the workers who stocked the card and he told me that. Walmart, Target, and Meijer doesn't stock cards and have no control over what cards they will receive. According to the card stocker/worker, they are a 3rd party that has a contract with those stores.
Would I buy, No lol. There are certain sets you can justify. It would just depend. I was on a road trip years back and a closing shopko had some crossroads blisters. So you can find some bangers lol but yeah unless you're collecting the packs probably not a good idea 😅
Sets like Battle of Chaos or Dawn of Majesty are great, Legendary Duelist aren't worth it though. Sets that have something cool to chase it's like buying a lotto scratcher. Why not give it a try?
Apart from Battles of legend, the other sets aren't really worth it. Crystal's revenge still has decent value in it. On the other hand, even the starlights in Lightning overdrive and dawn of majesty don't hold much value. Not really worth 3 bucks imo
