@Numb3rTr33 i am a masters student in a quantitative subject, where would you suggest I look to start a career in the quant field? By that I mean what job titles etc because quantitative researchers or other such positions are senior positions and junior positions again ask for experience. So where do I get the right experience? I would appreciate any tips you might have
@@antonisstavrou1123 when you start a career, even to get to a junior position you're typically supposed to have some experience that you get from internships. So what I suggest is to look for interns, maybe in big companies, and try to stay there or then to look for another position once you got the 6 months experience in the field. As for the position itself, it really depends on your major, but if you come from maths, stats, engineering or computer science you shouldn't have many problems to land a job in market risk or credit risk. If you're coming from computer science i think front office positions are the best fit, such as trading
