Billy, I don't think the library is the best place for your new antique "hunting theme" vase holders and vases. I think another room would suit better. Try them in the dining room, please, a place where of course flowers are frequently placed. The library is styled in a more "French - delicate" style whereas the dining room is heavier and darker with the hunting them more predominant. Just a suggestion!

Given the subject matter of those two vases, can't help wondering if they came out of either someone's hunting lodge or perhaps a summer picnicking lodge or something similar. If Billy cleans the vases with a white vinegar and cold water solution they should come up brilliantly. It's what I use on picture glass and all my windows to great effect; the fish and chip shop smell so goes....🤪
I truly enjoyed seeing the library. It is stunning. We never get a chance to view it. Your son with the little wind up car delighted me. Bright back memories of my own son with little Wind up cars. The flower vases are beautiful.
