My favorite headstones are the zinkies! They really weather well, and to think that they were considered a cheaper option. Great seeing you on a Wednesday. Also thank you for respecting the flag. Have an awesome week!
I am guessing that if someone hit a golf ball on that hole that the cemetery is near, it would be deemed out of bounds, since you would not want to hit a golf ball from hallowed ground; that would not be a good thing!
Isn't "Eliza" pronounced with a "long i" sound? That's how I've always pronounced it. Thanks for going out in all kinds of weather to give us these videos.
I live in the neighboorhood right next to there, beautiful cemetary i love going there
Thank you for another great tour!
Great find! Interesting tombstones! So glad none of the golfers yelled FORE at you! :)
You and me both!

I see lots of stones in great shape and some need a little TLC and some restoration work

I believe that date was 1841 not 1811. That's what I could make out anyway. Thanks for the tour Bryan
I did look it up and you were a lot closer than me. It was 1844,

I found 3 golf balls while I was in there so I think you are right.
Nice video again. What's the history of the Chicago bronze marker company? Do they still make them that way today? Field trip video may be in order.
The company started in 1892 and moved to Chicago in 1900. They produced a lot of monuments for Civil War soldiers. The company closed in the 1940’s.
