There are larger boring machines that are "TBM" (tunnel boring machines). Keep in mind that the "Microtunneling" name does not necessarily mean "small". These are un-manned machines, meaning that they are remotely controlled by a control plant on the ground level. The Operator in the control plant watches the grade and level of the machine to ensure the machine stays within tolerances per scope and eventually "hole-out" at the receiving shaft.

what is the minimum diameter of the MTBM ? and how to grout the outs gap of 1/2" to 4"?

I am surprised that the slurry and supply lines are not run through the presser foot.
Some time it causes pavement deflection, so how can I avoid that?
