Lol same! I played this game when I was 5! And I beaten it multiple time... but I lost the game... 😭😭😭 i miss it so much. As soon as i heard the sound from both the characters and the music. I got that same wave!

For me the favourite part of this game wasn't even the combat, but just building up my cities. I played RTS's like they were city builders. I would spend hours on a single easy campaign mission, deliberately not engaging the enemy or completing the objectives, just expanding my perfectly aesthetically designed city to cover the whole map. I always wished I could live in one of the cities I built. I was a weird kid.

Anyone here After AOM retold release date in August 2024. It feels so nostalgic to relive the childhood memories time really flies too fast.
I went to pick up this game on release night in October 2002. But wow, this game brings back some good memories. I miss playing this game more than anything else and have been considering buying a gaming laptop just to play this and Rise of Legends, some Age of Empires too. I do wish Ensemble Studios was still around and kept making RTS games. We'd probably have something new to reminisce about.

I remember spending hours collecting all the gold on the map, building up everywhere, creating an army of champion elephants and colossus n what have u only to attack and find a handful of ill prepared bored soldiers at the other end...

What a great game ....it’s over 18 years old and it’s still a great game . One of my all time favorites...we need a remaster or something ...I put this game in the legendary category with age of empires 2 and Rome total war .

I’m 23, I think I started playing this game when I was 5; might have been my first game actually. I’ve probably spent most of my early years playing this and god I miss it.
I started playing this game again yesterday after 10 years or so of completely forgetting about it. It still is as good as I remembered it! Such fond memories of my teenage years playing this and AoE II.

I don't remember what I did last week as a adult but the sounds of this game came flooding back from years ago sat at the big white boxy computer under the stairs bickering with my dad who got to use the computer next me for hours on age of mythology or him for hours on eBay! How times have advanced! Lovely bit of childhood nostalgia! 👌

Age of Empires 1&2, Mythology, Civilization 3, Runescape, Final Fantasy 7 were the top games I played back in the day among others, I still play all of em today at age 32.

Always wondered what the difference between this and AOE2. I bought the game once but I got scammed by Best Buy, the copy I bought only had disc 2 and the titans expansion in it. So I couldnt fully install it. My guess is someone bought it, installed it and kept disc 1 to keep playing it, returned it, and they saw both disc slots inside the case filled with a disc so they accepted the return. But I was young and thought eh fuckit I dont feel like dealing with it, didnt try and return it, looking back I prolly could have easily. I know it has the big god units but besides that its the same as AOE2. Its basically a copy off of Total Annihilation Kingdoms expansion, The Iron Plague, which added a god unit to each side.

Los nórdicos son enemigos que ahuevo tienen que atacar constanteme porque si no, no obtienen favores divinos, además que se ve que está en lo más fácil, ya que si no, te atacan desde la segunda edad.*
