In this video, I will show you how to configure static routes on Mikrotik devices. Static routes are used to manually specify a path for network traffic to take, rather than relying on dynamic routing protocols. This can be useful in situations where you want to direct traffic through specific interfaces or gateways, or to control the path that traffic takes through your network.
I will demonstrate the process step-by-step, including how to access the Mikrotik router's web interface, how to add a static route, and how to verify that the route is working correctly. Whether you are a network administrator or just someone looking to improve your networking skills, this video will provide valuable information on configuring static routes on Mikrotik devices.
This class is part of my full MTCNA preparation course coming on March 01 on mikrotiktraini...

I mean how do you access the graphic user interface of your routers and yet they are in Gns... Even tho you could use bridge i have you would just have access on one router only
in winbox while you're using GNS3?
Very well explained. Is there going to be also a video about static routing and NAT working together on a similar LAB environment? Thanks
Thank you, the default route and nat is coming in my next video (it will public in some hours)
Your explanations are so clear. Thank you ❤
Glad you think so!
crystal clear as always. thanks!
