In the supplements, they add protectron, assaultron, NCR, quite a bit, actually. I have them all so far. I'm hoping for a Nuka-World supplement soon. Or, what would be really awesome, is if they somehow got the rights to do Van Buren (the never released Black Isle version of Fallout 3). I've been going over the design documents. It would make an awesome campaign setting.
Supermutants are all male because the FEV seems to just kill females. There was one in Fallout 3, but I'm not sure if it wasn't a male wearing a wig and a dress. There might have been one in the earlier Fallout games (maybe in Fallout 2?)

Can you play this game in a theatre of the mind game style? I have the Quickstart rules version. But don't own miniatures and can't paint minis >I also might learn the game and run it using Jitsi a ZOOM alternative.

Was the Fallout RPG you found that was "Fallout in DND" done by XP To Level 3? 'Cause he explicitly made it not DND.

Im coincidentally writing an adventure for the tri-state area. I havent actually played the game yet and learning it for my friends. If I have a bunch of quests ready to go but im worried that the quests will collide with one another if they pass certain areas on the map. Is it better to just do one off adventures with a focused narrative or a broader world exploration campaign where questlines are jumped in and out of like the video game.

I’d say it’s better to have a little bit more focus to start with. Think of Good Springs in Fallout New Vegas. You learn the town is under threat from the Powder Gangers, you can help, but there is no timer or anything forcing you to leave or stay.
I usually fly by the seat of my pants when I run games, but I know other people tend to need to plan to feel more confident while running.
I highly recommend having a Quick Reference sheet for basic dice rolls for skills and combat for your players so they don’t have to scour the book for simple rules. (I recommend this for all games)
Sidebar: Tri-State area you say? There doesn’t happen to be an Evil Scientist who is constantly thwarted by a Platypus Spy, is there?

Yes, please consider NOT running Fallout in D&D or closely related systems. Expand your horizons. Use this system, or Savage Worlds, or anything else out of your comfort zone.
