Trut. Kala nila laging ok lang sayo because you're strong. They forget that you still feel pain and you also get tired. Kay bobbie talaga ko relate eh. In a way kahit ganun yung fam nya sa kanya, she still supported them all throughout, hindi lang financially.

Gabbie is the hidden backbone of the family. After watching the prequel, I've noticed that walang ibang ginawa si Gabbie kundi intindihin yung mga away ng mga kapatid nya. Tuwing nag aaway mga kapatid niya, wala syang ibang sinabi kundi "Ate, tama na". Sya lagi pumapagitna sa away ng mga ate nya, kaya din siguro lumaki syang ganyan. Taga disiplina ng mga kapatid nya. She really has that maternal instinct.

I really like her. When she made herself so bold and tough because she needed to just for her family. She was always deemed the annoying know-it-all by Teddie and sort of also Alex. When she's also vulnerable and no one was on her side but Alex (when they were kids). Teddie seems so demanding to make any plan her idea because she's the oldest and it's her responsibility... However, she somehow fails and it made her stupid and not good enough as Bobbie who's always successful that's why she's envious of her.

"Its okay" words that tell us the pain a mother has undergone but remains selfless and loving.
Watching the prequel and then rewatching this now, made me realize Bobbie’s character more. She really is a ticking bomb that’s just waiting to happen. Personally, i know that feeling of being the best in the family academically yet not being recognized in the family because i’m nobody’s favorite.
"Growing up naman, nandoon si Alex. Sya lang may favorite sakin" - Bobbie
This line speaks volumes on why Bobbie was so hurt when Alex got together with her ex-bf. She did not hate her sister but she felt betrayed somehow and it hurt her even more, ignoring the sister she was closest to growing up. I'm sure that at some point she really wants to patch things up with Alex but as the bread winner of the family, it became hard fot her to open up, and to be vulnerable in general. She also thinks that in a way, she's an outcast, that no one really favors her or takes her side so instead of confronting her sister, she may have thought that Alex is better off without her.

Sa umpisa, na aannoyed ako sa character ni bobby the way na nag sa silent treatment siya kay alex. Atsaka siguro ung sa pagka sabi niya kay teddie na "hindi ka ba nag iisip?!" Na aaarrogantehan ako sakanya. Pero after ung nag open up siya sa kanila, I feel sorry ako sa character niya. It turns out na sya pala ang pinaka kawawa sa kanilang lahat. Hindi ako achiever sa school pero naiintindihan ko ang character ni bobby. Napaka husay mo sa klase pero wlang nakaka appreciate ng acheivements mo.

we all know na in real life walang ganitong eksena talaga . oo my ganitong sitwasyon pero wlang ganitong drama. and i thank BEA ALONZO kase binigyan nya ng boses tayong lahat na nkakaranas ng character nya . can you imagine kung gaano aya kagaling i deliver ung mga lines na gustong gusto natin sabihen sa totoong buhay . literal na BINIGYAN NYA NG BUHAY ang mga kaluluwa nating nakakulong sa lungkot at pagiisa pagdating sa pamilya . and i really appreciate that . 2021 na pero still binabalik balikan ko ung scene na to evrytime na mararamdaman ko ung lungkot at tampo sa pamilya ko . sa sobrang relate ko npagaan nya loob ko inilalagay ko nlang ung sarili ko sa character nya . In real life mahirap magkaroon ng ganitong eksena kasi bihira rin naman talaga ang marunong makinig. Minsan pasimula ka palang sa pag-explain ng nararamdaman mo, sinisigawan at binabara ka na agad. Actually meron po😂 nagawa po namin yan nang papa at mama ko one night. Binuhos ko lahat nang mga kinimkim ko na sama nang loob sa papa ko (not that masama ang papa ko pero marami akong mga itinagong sakit nang loob at nag pent up yon). Mga isang baldeng din siguro yung iyakan namin. Sometimes it's easy to say na may eksena sa movie na eksaherada pero it happens in real life po talaga. Nakakashock din😂

No matter how many times I've watched this scene, it never fails to bring me into tears. It just hits different.
The more you watch the whole film, the more you realise how truly exquisite the writing is. The writers are very particular about the details introduced in the plot. Lahat ng major characters may strong driving reason to why they are that way, and why they did what they did. And somehow they managed to answer or make sense to almost all of those as you go further the storyline (especially this scene). I personally consider this as one of the rare gems of Philippine cinema. A true classic!

I cried how many times because of Bobbie's part. I felt that because I've been there too it was so hard being misinterpret all the time, the no one's favorite child and etc.

If that is not unfair ano tawag don? Bobbie is the representation of that neglected child na pinalaki ang sarili niya on her own. So proud of all Bobbie's out there.

“Importane sakin, binuhay niyo ako, pinakain niyo ako.” Just imagine how much of an outsider she must have felt growing up na she conditioned herself to just be happy na “pinalaki” siya ng magulang niya. Na parang ‘buti nga pinalaki ka pa, hindi ki iniwan na lang’ na mindset. Ang sakit nung nangyari kay Teddy and I relate to her on so many levels, but Bea’s character lived her whole life thinking she’s alone while being surrounded with family. Ang sakit niyan bilang bata, no wonder she’s aloof nad steel-hearted as an adult.

Mag-isang anak lang ako, pero all my life i've been into Bobbie's shoes, never been favorite. Disappointment eversince, been compared to anybody. My mom chose my step dad over me, relatives back stabbing me, anxiety was my home, darkness was my comfort, over sleeping/ lacking of sleep was rest. Ever since I graduated I left our home, cause I can't stand my mom calling me names. She's just reaching out to me if she needs money. I am not as successful as Bobbie but I know someday I will. In different race in my own pace. Godbless you who ever reading this. We can do this.

I am really not into Filipino films, as in bihira lang, I am not really into the drama genre. Tapos pinalabas 'to sa cable one night na bored ako, "hmm.. mukhang okay to, comedy" sabi ko pa, kasi nga si Enchong Dee ikakasal kay Angeline Quinto, tapos ang cute lang ng character and family ni Angeline sa film. Then biglang BOOM! I was caught off-guard, lol. Di ko inexpect na makakarelate ako sa character ni Bea at some point, and bihira lang ako umiyak sa movies, and this one made me cry. Naging fave ko na din. Sobrang talented nilang lahat lalo na si Bea. Sobrang natural.
Sobrang sakit talaga ng scene na to. may part na makaka-relate ka kay Teddie at may part din kay Bobbie. Sobrang lakas ng impact haha nakakaiyak pa rin panoorin kahit ilang beses ko ng napanood. Eto yung mga linyahan na gustong-gusto mong sabihin in real life sa pamilya mo kasi eto yung eksaktong nararamdaman mo pero 'di mo magawa.

Everyone's talking about Bobbie but Teddie's role as the eldest deserves a lot more credit. Oo overachiever at walang pumapansin kay Bobbie, pero bilang panganay tulad ni Teddie, nasa kanya lahat ng pressure. You have to live up to your parents' and siblings' expectations dahil ikaw ang magse-set ng standard. Ikaw ang kanang-kamay ng parents mo at ikaw ang role model ng mga kapatid mo. Kaya kahit nahihirapan ka na, hindi mo magawang masabi na nahihirapan ka kasi panganay ka at kailangan mong magpakita na magaling ka at matatag kahit sobrang sakit na sa loob mo. 😞

I relate so much with Bea's character. When you learn to be quiet because they won't hear you. When you learn to be tough because no one else was there for you. You had to be strong alone because you have to face the problems alone. Tapos sasabihan na matigas ang puso mo, hindi nila alam sila ang dahilan bakit ka ganyan. Now I prefer being alone instead of being surrounded by people because that's where I was comfortable.

This scene always makes me cry so hard no matter how many times I watch it. I don't think I get underappreciated but I can feel everything that Bobbie feels, from the way Bea delivered her lines really strucked me.

I’ve read it somewhere that the mum supposed to be played by Vilma Santos. For me, Connie is PERFECT for this role. Her acting is just enough to balance everyone’s heavy-lined roles. If Vilma was added to this big cast, it will be too much already. 😊
