I got cheated in one of the saloon in Dublin.They did not do flat iron after application of keratin.They only did blow dry.within one wash I lost all the glow.

Hi Sadiq,
First of all we do not use any straightening cream in doing the keratin treatment, the straighten look is one effect you get in doing a keratin treatment while having your damaged hair repaired and in receiving a smooth hair. The keratin do not cause any damage as it is a protein treatment that fills up protein to the upper layer of the damaged hair cuticles. The keratin treatment also lasts up to 4 to 6 months at least and it actually repairs the damaged hairs. In a straightening, we use a straightening cream in changing the sulphate bonds to give out a straight look but in a keratin treatment you receive a straight look without having to change your sulphate bonds of the hair. That depends according to how they have done the keratin treatment and the products that they have used on your hair.
Having a treatment then putting an extremely hot iron on it isn't healthy doesn't make sense.

If this would only last 4-6 months, is the frizz of your hair will go back to how it was before the treatment by then?
You can do the same kind of treatment with Queen Helene's Cholesterol Treatment. The reason her hair looks so beautiful & shiny is from the flat iron too. The heat brings out the oils to the surface and gives it a nice sheen.

Actually keratin treatment do not cause any such damages because it normally fills up the damaged upper layer of the hair cuticles, therefore it is a repairing treatment for damaged hairs. The damaged cause must be from the products and on the way the particular continue to have done the keratin treatment.

It is totally fine to do a keratin treatment for thin hairs. The only effect is that it will be a bit more flat than the outcome of a normal hair. Keratin treatment is great for damaged, split end hairs. Moreover keratin treatment gives a very slight volume as it fills up the outer layer of the hair strands. Thank you and have a nice day.

Keratin treatment usually can be kept for around 4 to 6 months and it depends according to the maintenance. Usually keratin treatment is for damage repairs and it does not do any harm but effects might happen according to the way the keratin treatment is done and also the products used in that certain salon. Normally after the keratin treatment or after it has gone away, keratin treatment do not do any hair or make it worse.

No its not the same.
Keratin treatment and permanent hair straightening are two services plus in the keratin treatment it is filling up protein through a protein treatment for the upper layer of the damaged hair cuticles and it lasts for 4 to 6 months. Hair straightening causes a bond change in causing a permanent straightening to the hair as a matter of fact it actually causes a damage to the hair. Thank you and have a nice day.

If you want a permanent straightening, then rebonding is good but if you need to do a treatment without any damage then we recommend the keratin treatment but that is not permanent.
