Don’t trash those bottoms, I’ve sold some like that just fine. The last set is very unique and sought after. List it, disclose the dryness and I it will sell. That band can be replaced easily by the buyer. I think I used Genie as a key word in my listing.
Hey, that haul will pay off, sell the dry-rot stuff anyway, it's just the elastic. That was the largest collection of boring shoes I've ever seen.

I picked up wooden and ceramic shoes in Holland for decor. I settled on traditional blue and white pieces of decor. Not for resale for my home.
My mother, who grew up in the depression, didn’t own fitted sheets. Two flat sheets. On wash day, wash the bottom sheet, put top sheet on the bottom, and get a fresh top sheet. Very frugal. That’s probably why you see so many flat sheets.
My 96 year old mother in law still does that!
vintage lingerie, even just the tops since the bottoms have dry rot, do really well on depop!

Hi there. You would love estate sales! It's fun to see interesting houses and also to shop for useful as well as collectible items. Garage/yard sales are a blast too as I've found so many great pieces of jewelry, vintage kitchenware, etc... at them for very inexpensive prices. We also have church rummage sales which I believe are similar to your jumble sales. Are jumble sales still going on?
At an estate sale it makes me sad to see that their family didn't want things they made, like needlework.

I think they had a store /flea market or something like that. With most have boxes that would be really unusual if it was all personal stuff. Just my guess though

I went out today - waking up at 1pm which was lovely and scary. I got myself a cardi from east, a brand no longer trading for £1 reduced from £5 in a charity shop In the uk. All the shops are closed tomorrow as Easter.
Love the vintage percale sheets...I prefer those...doesn't wrinkle and keeps me cool at night. When I thrift I look for new in package vintage sheets. Hard to find.
You need to check the date on your calendar the month
If it's a sale being run by an estate sale company I think they combine the contents of several houses into one for these sales. That's why it seems like a lot for one family to have.

I am a seamstress and the Elastic on the "Panties" can be replaced. Perhaps you can include them if the Nighty is purchased and disclose about the elastic and give them the option of keeping or throwing out. Message the buyer and mention what you have and if they would like them for free of course. This way there is no item not described etc... as Ebay will have your message

You got some good finds. The owner was quite a collector. It looks to me that American homes are too big which encourages people to buy too much because they have space to store it.

Double sheets are hard to sell.
The old sheets are probably flatter than the sheets that are made for the modern mattresses and won't fit.

That is an easy fix dont toss it out its still vintage i would still list it as easy fix or repurpose the fabric upcycle

I would pass, hard pass on someone elses lingerie lol as a .atter of fact i have cleared all private intimate things like that out of my closet (after my husband of 42 years passed) didn't want our kids to have to deal with . And yes those are harvest gold tupperware, i'm old too!
