Very hard to tell. I liked some of the photos more on the P20 Pro and some of the photos more on the S10. I'd call it a tie. Any chance of an in-depth camera comparison between Note 9 and S10?
Good point. Some of the P20 ones look a bit unnatural but others have better detail... As much as I'd love to do the Note 9/S10 comparison, I'm too poor to be able to afford one 😅 The phones I test out are just ones I've bought myself. Quite possible. This video was taken when the S10 Plus first came out so I imagine the S10 series has had quite a few software improvements since then 👍
@@AndroidAddicts is that software fixable? i wonder if someone could shed light on why/how the P20 gets so much clarity at night. looks off sometimes, but somewhere inbetween that and the s10 would be sweet! Still feel like the p20 is much sharper on some shots.

Only hope i have is that according to one article i've read, Samsung is the only manufacturer that doesn't have a 'dedicated' night mode. Hope they catch up.
I think enough people have complained about it this time (Marques Brownlee being one of them) so I do hope they will. It's not the end of the world if they don't - there are other camera apps which have their own night modes and the automatic detection works reasonably well but yes, I agree, somewhere between the P20 Pro's 'agressive' night mode and the S10's auto night mode would be excellent 👍
P20 pro its a really good phone at all specifications but the camera its brilliant .. more details and color in night mode and day good colors and the AI on this phone its very useless , me im going to upgrade to p30 pro be soon.
S10 probably the most realistic but p20 looks better to me.
Huawei is better on the night and huawei looks most real weathered

P20 Pro is the king for night photography. The only phone which can beat P20 Pro is P30 Pro which will be released later in this month.
I'm surprised that the latest S10 plus is even worse than P20 Pro, which was released more than one years ago.

P20 Pro is much better, I mean better details, better sharpness, better colar, better noise control. S10 Plus is too soft and looks too fake.

i hope samsung's night mode gets just a little better. it's okay (just got the s10+) but there's a LOT of noise compared to some phones.
Agreed. But I think Samsung will add a Night mode in a software update. It should be possible for them to do quite easily 👍🏻
