The Titano Ideal student accordion had a long journey and a repair. Destined to belong to me? Maybe!

- Hey please like if you enjoyed this messy video... also let me know in comments if you would like to hear the WHOLE story behind this instrument's journey! I realized I didn't really tell that much but if you're interested I'll get another video together and talk more about it!
In this video though, I look at the repaired Titano Ideal that had been in the repair shop for a while and is now back. I talk toward the end of this video about how that happened. (Captions contain a bit more info than what I said)
(I set the practice video bits except the Bluemont Waltz part at FAST speed so they're a little EASIER to sit through. Except where I found odd sounds)
In this video i test drive it - knowing that there are things that still need to settle in like the new leathers on some of the reeds, and to do that I need to play it, often.
I am learning accordion and now have several in my possession... and I fell in love with this instrument after looking at ways to restore an old accordion I inherited from my Mom. I bought a "junker" accordion of the same brand (Hohner) and vintage as my Mom's to learn how to restore one like that, and in the process realized I wanted to learn to play - if only to understand better how this instrument works and what it should sound like. In that process I acquired several other accordions and the Titano Ideal was the first. When I got it, I was disappointed because it was not in the condition it had been stated. This video talks a little about that and how the accordion is now. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
Nice instrument! Does sound like some retuning might be in order. And you keep improving!
That's the plan! Both things that is. Thanks!
Nice! It looks like a different accordion all fixed up! Keep plugging away at it, you actually are getting better.
Thanks! It was a lot dirtier inside than it looked, full of woodworm sawdust which was stopping everything up.
@@kathharper Wow! It looked a little rough on the outside so not a huge surprise. Poor thing, glad you have it now!
Me too. It cleaned up very nicely.
