    Just as hard as EPMD was rapping DJ scratch was scratching! His scratching helped make that song a classic song.!!!

    That beat is TIMELESS @ 1:56. no truer words have ever been spoken. I got this album and so wat cha saying was the first song. It took me 2 hrs to get to the next song because I kept rewinding this song just to hear that beat.

      The beat is actually the song sampled during the chorus. DJ scratch has a show on XM radio, he played the beat raw before the studio engineer got ahold of it

    Maaaannnn, I just can't get the words out right now. THIS joint was insane when it dropped when I was high school, and like dude said, it's TIMELESS. It stays on rotation in my phone and it came on which lead me thru some things all the way to this vid.

    In the same era of Eric B & Rakim, this was EMPD second album and like first album it went better than gold .. It dropped in summer of 1989, Strictly Business dropped in 2988 and Unfinished Business dropped in 1989

    I remember hearing EPMD on the legendary radio station AM 1580 KDAY in Los Angeles in 1988. Every hood from African Americans to Mexicans who be bumping EPMD at back yard house parties, school dances. Even the LA gangsterers would buming EPMD when they did drive by's .🌆 🏃🔫 🚗 🎶.....
