thanks for watching! You´re right. We´re sorry for the mistake, we misunderstood the information below a statue there, we should have double checked it to clarify it. We have put some TH-cam music on top to remove the mistake, TH-cam doesn´t allow to modify audio from a video once you upload it, we can only put some of their own music on top, so it´s the only thing we can do now! At least not many people saw it before you corrected it. Thanks! 🙏🏽😊

You must meant Romans. Because most of the stuff you see in those cities are ruins of Romans rather than Greeks. Yes, they were Greek colonies once as the Greeks came to asia minor from Greek mainland and colonized them. But they were conquered by Romans long ago. And Romans built over those cities. So, especially the big ones such as Ephesus have lots of Roman buildings in them rather than Greek ones. Theathers, nymphaeums, temples, aquaducts, cisterns, churches, the library and street shapes etc are almost all in Roman style. There are definitely Greek affects in the region too. Because Romans also honored the same gods and praised the Greeks. But what you see will be from Romans most of the time. As they were the last conquerers. Just because city name is Greek doesn’t mean everything is Greek. Romans kept the Greek city names, but turned them into Roman cities in terms of architecture. Greeks were not as good as Romans in terms infrastructure. Romans were the genius of architecture in that era. Sorry, I love Greek history too. However, assuming everything is based on Greeks is a little bit too much vanity.
