It's amazing how I can watch videos by Rener, think it's gone through one ear and out the other, and then a couple weeks down the line I'll be on the mat and some little detail of one of his technique will just pop into my head. I think that's his genius; everything is broken down in such a way that each piece flows into the other, so that remembering one opens the other up.

I've been using the weak side from my backmount control for almost 2 years now, and I find it to be superior to the strong side. I mainly attack the choke/armbar combination. I'll be trying the reverse trying triangle to up my back game even further. Thanks for the video Rener!

GREAT INSTRUCTION! analytical and thought-provoking concepts. mobility mechanics are efficiently applied to achieve the optimum mechanical advantage. As a non-practitioner, I was able to grasp the idea of the gradual progression in the transitional moves presented. The ability to predict where the body will go is evident when you have a good working knowledge of functional anatomy. ( No wasted energy, relaxed, calm & focused ) Thank you for making it sound so simple and enjoyable to watch.
