The kid with gun was Oda Dazai’s old friend, interestingly this is the first time he and ranbo met they also met when Oda was going to avenge the orphans.

How did I not even recognized him? I can't believe I missed that. Did they mention in the manga whether or not he remembered who Ranpo was when they met before he was going to avenge the kid?

as far as i know, ranpo is the smartest while dazai and fyodor is on the same level of over 200 iq but still below ranpo.

Is that so ? It felt like both Dazai and Ranpo were struggling to keep up with Fyodor, I seemed like he already knew that Ranpo would try to find the user of the virus and He had contingencies in place for it. It's as though he was always five steps ahead of them until Dazai caught him at the very end.
