This must be a new record for you guys. ^^ I've heard a lot about this game and saw bits and pieces of it here and there (and by that I mean Johnny's review and a BSC first impressions video of it) but what I saw looked pretty nice but nothing that really made me go "OMG I must buy that game now!" Looking forward to see where this is heading.
I recently 100%'d this game (not counting achievements) over the course of 3 days after buying it, and it pretty much immediately became one of my favourite games of all time, so I'm looking forward to watching SGB play it. I only wish the game itself were longer...

Oh hell yeah! One of my favorite platformers of the past decade is being played now! I absolutely love this game, this game has a charm I've never seen done so well.
I relate those chairs that give you odd camera angles just like the benches you sit at in Pokemon X and Y. Whenever you sat in any benches in Pokemon X and Y you get to see a different camera angle of the environment and I think its just to admire it, but I surely used it to save my game because i love the graphics and the art of that game.

There's air in space, so everyone can breathe just fine without protective gear, but when the Mafia goon breaks through the door, space behaves like a vacuum anyway. In the end, it's just a cute fantasy game... but it's fun to point out.

I hear that in concept at least, he was originally a main quest NPC for the Subcon Forest called Moon Jumper, I think there might have been some kind of faction system there that was cut (not sure), its a little disappointing because huge swathes of that forest are basically devoid of content where it looks like there should be way more things to do.
From my knowledge, Hat Kid sitting down everywhere is just a joke that can be done because why not sit down? The music will slow down, the camera pans and zooms, and Hat Kid will check herself as she waits. This idea is reinforced by the achievement "if I fit I sit" after sitting in 3 places. After all, standing on Rumbi will also activate a chieve.
Ya know, they say the cute ones are the dangerous ones. With that said, I can't wait to see what other psychot-- I mean, cute things Hat Kid does here.

Johnny. We speedrunners have learned how to do triple jumps and jump while keeping all momentum of a scooter or sprint. In the right situation, we can even do a QUAD jump. We make good use of "sprint double jump" SDJ.
I love this game so goddamn much. It's one of my Top 5 best games of 2017. That glitch was hilarious. I wonder if there's a glitch gremlin in their house.
I've been waiting for this. Very excited! I hope Johnny gets all the time pieces, yarn balls and rift tokens, and maybe does some co-op bonus episodes when it comes out later this year like how they did with Sonic 06.
Well this is a surprise. As much of a Nintendo fan I am I'm not that disappointed that the thought of this game getting ported to the Switch is out of the question because I already got the game on the PS4. But it's a shame a small chunk of people who would want to play this game cannot do so.
PipeGuy64Bit It's the rare case of a console not being able to handle an older engine. You usually only get those problems with PCs, but nope, the Switch can't play this game. That's what I heard, anyway.

+Trvial Thing is given how small Gears For Breakfast is, they can't exactly afford to put the time and effort into porting this game to the Switch especially since there's still the two bonus chapters they plan on releasing later on.

That floating head reminds me of when I was playing some PIxel Chicks when I was a kid and they glitched out so that all you could see of the girl was her head, and it took forever for me to find one that wouldn't do that.
I would say only 40 hourglasses is underwhelming for a collectathon, but that’s probably just me being spoilt by Mario Odyssey. That and Donkey Kong 64.

I think the "point" of taking a seat is that it is purely to let you sit back and take in your surroundings. It's a relaxation thing.

I love the dialogue in this game. The Mafia members are especially chatty, having between two to about six lines of dialogue depending.
Oh joy, that one indie game every one and they're mom loves is getting an SGB playthrough. I'm SO excited, and i just can't hide it... eh screw it.
The point in sitting in the chairs is that it's fun and cute. Not everything has to be a goal, yo.
I think the reason why there are places to sit down is to let the player relax and take in the game's surroundings. It's optional quiet time :)
