At this stage, the client works to overcome the fear of traumatic memories so that they can be integrated allowing appreciation for the person he or she has become as a result of the trauma. (If I can recover from my trauma I can appreciate what I've been through and celebrate what God has done as I've recovered. I'm no longer in it as a victim I can remember it as a victor.) In order to metabolize (not just verbalize) memories, clients may make use of EMDR, hypnotherapy or mind body therapies. Pacing ensures that the client does not become stuck in avoidance or overwhelmed by memories and flashbacks. Since remembering is not recovering, the goal is only to come to terms with the traumatic past. Paul was able to articulate his traumatic experiences to the church without causing them trauma in the process. This is my second go round listening 👂 because I heard about how Life be Lifing!!! There’s so many healing ❤️🩹 balms that cleanse out which are keys🔑 to unlock 🔐 the Peace (Shalom) of mind 🧠 !!!! This WHOLE series is the SHABANG BANG!!!! So many people don’t want to get to the core!!! Where ever the head leads the body has to follow!! I am so through with that comparison of broken-ness testimony. When no one can come close to Christ or Paul. It becomes about I win. Through Christ I want to be FREE INDEED!!!!
Life be Life-ING whole new perspective on the traumas/things we have been through and/or going through.. Life be life-ING but God is faithful and God is with me.

I am old school. I have a difficult time getting used to how the young folk dress in the pulpit - especially young women. I sure do miss seeing people in classic dress style.
Attended a women's conference several years ago where there was a circle discussion where the women did just that, having there pain and suffering as if it was a way to connect to each other's hurt so we could understand that we all have been through something. Everyone took turns slinging snot about their trauma. When it to my turn, I said Yup I have been through stuff done stuff (explained what all the stuff was) and that I don't dwell there. I have been set free I put it all at HIS feet. I talked more about JESUS than my problems, but then I was cut off. The person who put the retreat together cut me off. I was offended, but not in an angry sense. It was more of a revelation. The next day I was called up to the center of the circle, as all the women were asked to do, where 3 of the leaders laid hands on me and prayed what I thought was a prayer of faith. My life has had some interesting twists and turns after that, all I can look back and thank God for but sometimes I wonder if someone in that group was speaking words of something else in my life because it seems that every time I get close to moving forward I get blocked. Now I am not allowing ANY of that stop me from sticking to what GOD has called me to, yet I sometimes wonder. 🤔 Oh well I am recovering. HALLELUYAH 💞🙌🙌🙌🙌
