Blowing Up a Snowman with My Basenjis

Hello, subscribers. Those of you who have been with me since the beginning are familiar with our basenjis Dabi (rhymes with Bobby) & Prisca, his little sister. Tragically, we lost Dabi to prostate cancer last February.
Dave & I struggled over the idea of getting another basenji, but Prisca was so lonely. And the 2 times we left her at home alone - when it was dark outside - she nervously paced on the window seat instead of resting. And the last time, we caught her on our living room camera howling on the back of the couch. She was only 3 when we lost her big brother at age 4.
We couldn’t see her having a lonely long life with no basenji companion. So after some prayer we welcomed her little nephew Rookie to our family, 3 months after we’d lost Dabi. He was a year old and bigger than her so he’s not really “little.” He IS smaller than Dabi was.
This is Rookie’s debut on TH-cam. (He’s the one with the broader white collar of fur. Dabi just had a skinny arrow of white on the back of his neck and Prisca is in between… with a larger white arrow than Dabi had on his neck.)
I haven’t stopped making basenji videos even though I have struggled with the desire to post them since Dabi’s untimely death. I’m going to try to routinely post some of my old ones… some taken even of Dabi before he died.
I hope you’ll stick with my channel, subscribers. I am happy to have reached 333 as of late. 3 is my favorite number. But I would certainly appreciate new subscribers if you are watching, and find that you like my “Dolls & Basenjis for the Most Part” channel.
